But what I am really after is a pack of 'normal' tarot cards that also have the hexagrams on them in correspondence not a pack of IChing cards.
I am sure they exist because I have seen them but just cannot remember the name of them.

This thread is from so long ago that you may have had your question answered already elsewhere. But I believe you may be talking about the Haindl Tarot. Its minors 2-10 each have a hexagram, which, when the card is reversed, obviously becomes a different hexagram. They must repeat some hex's because 9 cards per suit x 4 suits = 36 x 2 for upright and reversed = 72. That's 8 extra, unless I got my math confused somehow. So, not sure what they did there.

There are a few who have tried to correlate Tarot with the Yi, like Crowley and his followers, and Banzhaff. But you might be thinking here of Rachel Pollack’s Haindl Tarot. The problem with this one is that Haindl doesn't have the smallest f**king clue about the meaning of the hexagrams. The associations aren't remotely close to fitting.
