Will my relationship survive this time?
63.1.6 > 53
Both lines 1 and 6 imply that the relationship is troubled. In 1 the relationship is stopped, and the subject fails in some way.
Nine at the beginning means:
He brakes his wheels.
He gets his tail in the water.
No blame.
In 6 things are out of control.
Six at the top means:
He gets his head in the water. Danger.
The resulting hexagram is more optimistic and implies that the relationship will be restored. So the relationship should survive but is very close to the edge. All this water reminds me of the tragedy in Brazil and Australia. Even when the water goes down, things are slow to return to normal. Isn't there some way to deal with the disrupting issue so that no one drowns?
52.2.3.4 > 64
I think the Yi is advising you to sit still (52) until the bad spirit dissipates (64). Morally you are entitled to an answer, but diplomatically you shouldn't press. There could be all sorts of reasons. Maybe he has troubles he doesn't want to admit. Line 2 ("He cannot rescue him whom he follows.") implies you won't be able to help at this time, however the heart suffocates (line 3). Line 4 suggests you will not be blamed for no action. Don't let your thoughts go beyond your immediate concerns.
So you think right now I should focus on the issue and not think too much? To be honest, I am really panicking right now without knowing what he is thinking.
Does the change of my thought or actions affect the hexagrams I get for the same question? Sometimes I ask iching the same question the next day, but I will get a different hexagram, so I am confused about which one to follow.
Yes, the Image of 52 says that the superior person does not permit her thoughts to go beyond her situation. Hard as it may be, you need to focus on the things you control and can do.
Yes, the time has changed, you have changed, and the situation has changed. A second casting with the same question I take to be another aspect of the situation. Whether the hexagrams are the same or different their interpretation will probably be different. And sometimes (imo) the I Ching answers the question that should have been asked rather than the question asked. I often spend hours or days thinking about a casting and so don't make a second casting for myself.
Thanks!! Actually I have another question. Sometimes I received a hexagram that doesn't match current situation. Should I disregard it when that happens?
I never disregard a hexagram, even if at first it doesn't seem to match the current situation. When I look deeper, I have always found a connection.
*Should I disregard it when that happens?*
have you ever thought that your opinion about the matter is incorrect?
there is still a motivation if the Yi answer you in a way.... so take care about such advices.
the Yi can see situation that we are not able to think! just because nothing let us thought about.
63-> 53.... my thought about is.... that the relation will grow slow but concretely... contrarily to what you expect.... 63, you just see how the situation finally will looks between you and.... but it need much more time.
time depends from your consideration of time about the matter...
