Hello,
I met a lovely man and I felt something for him. We click a lot and I think he feels something for me too but I am not sure so I asked the ICHING if he feels something inside about me, something extra.... you know?
The answer I got is
Hexagram 61 with
changing line 1 and 2
leading to Hexagram 20

Please, share your insights about this.

I think the chances that he feels something for you are quite good. Hexagram 61 does talk about inner affinity. Notice line two speaks about it specifically, but the whole hexagram relates to that. According to the law of correspondences, line one is yang and is therefore correct, and it has a correspondence with line 4, which is yin. Hexagram 20 tells us to observe the signs and has the image of the masses looking up to the leader with great reverence and expectation. I think if you watch the signs, you will find that the reading is favorable and it is correct.

Please, I am now distressed about this relationship, if there is one, becauseI dont know how to think about it....
I asked the ICHING again about what is going on between us and I got hexagram The Return, 24, with no changing lines.
Any insight? Please.

I dont know if this helps to see the big scene of it but asking about what his feelings for me I got hexagram 17 with changing lines 4 and 6, turning into 42 hexagram.
Please, I really need help now.

I think Hexagram 24 represents the illusion that you have no choice.

Perhaps you are actually able to decide what you want from the relationship and to do some about it?

Hi Claire, I think it might be a good idea to change the emphasis of your questions to what you do - how you can best respond to the situation.
Thats something you can deal with. I am very doubtful of asking Yi about others feelings - only they know that. Relying on Yi to discover anothers feelings is in my experience not a good idea. Too much danger of misinterpretation. Also I find Yi inevitably refers back to me even if I ask about another. Maybe 24 here means get back to your own source, your own psyche and move from there. You can't act from the stance of trying to get inside someone elses head.

Let me try to express myself more clearly. I hope this makes a bit more sense.

I think Hexagram 24 represents the illusion that you have no choice.

I think that in this situation you have much more power than you realise.

Perhaps you are able to influence the situation more than you think.

Perhaps you are actually able to decide what you want from the relationship and to do something about it?

If you take on your own power more and more, then you might find that your situation with this man will evolve in the direction that you want.

I got 24 in answer to a "should I stay or go" question last year.

for me I interpreted this as meaning returning to who I am, to what I want, to the real me. I was in a situation where i was trying (felt I had to be) something i wasn't, and 24 showed me that I had gone away from the true me and that it was time to return. I didn't reach a conclusion over whether I should stay or go, but that whichever I did, i should return to being me.

All our situations are different, but I have done this and things are much better in life

Hi Claire,

I have had much the same experience with 24 in the past as Binz. IMHO, I believe 24 is all about finding the 'real' you. The Divine One inside, not the external influences outside. I also agree with Louise's very similar position, in fact, I would say she states it very succinctly in the last sentence of her post.
