Hi all. Just popping in really quick to get some feedback before I have to leave to go pick up my daughter. I plan to return later on to continue the discussion.

This reading is connected to the following thread: http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/friends/showthread.php?21290-Neck-injury-26-6-gt-11

I have written a tentative first draft to the insurance adjuster. After I completed the draft, I consulted Yi to ask how the letter was so far. The answer I recieved was 4.2>23.

Indeed I am a novice at writing letters to ask for a settlement. I have chosen to do without a lawyer if it can be helped. I'm at a loss here, as I'm not sure if receiving the woman would apply to the insurance adjuster receiving the letter as good fortune, or my receiving her? I'm sort of leaning towards, "it's a good start, but you need to clean it up a bit." Perhaps?

I will think on this some more during my drive to pick up my daughter, but in the meantime I wanted to throw this reading out there in case anyone has any good insights.
Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I think the advice is to be kind, tolerant, patient, polite and understanding towards 'inferior' people [who did you wrong, or who is against you, having trouble understanding you etc.].
Like a proper teacher is with youngsters.

Remove any aggressive words and accusations if possible, project calmness and describe the situation thoroughly so even a layman will understand it.

Good luck :)

Very nice, ashteroid.
On my drive, I was thinking about the letter and how I had decided to not use lawyer type language that employs words such as "demand." A friend of mine recently went through a similar situation and did use a lawyer. She showed me the letter that was sent to the insurance company and I found it to be quite brash. I told my friend after I read her letter that I was going to go a different route and be as nice as possible, even though the adjuster has been less than friendly at times.

The letter, as is, reads as very polite and there are several times that I thanked her for working with me and for her time. I also said that I understand that an accident was just that: an accident and I hold no ill will towards her client. When citing my injuries and my medical bills, I tried to keep any kind of accusatory tone out of it. It is very layman friendly and simply stated. I have also left the tally for her to calculate instead of spelling it out line by line.

After some thought and reading your response, I think that the reading is saying that the letter follows the advice in 4.2, as my question was, "How is the letter so far?" And so the answer is, "The letter is 4.2."

Thank you for taking the time to respond. :)
