Interpretation 50.1.2>30 (Lawsuit/Penalties)

Hi Everyone - I'm reaching out for feedback from anyone who has received 50.1.2>30 in relation to a conflict/lawsuit.
The background: received threatening letter relating to unpaid tax liabilities several months ago. I have since retained a lawyer and we are starting work on a long and painful process to resolve the situation; it will probably take at least a year (probably more) to resolve. I have been emotionally and mentally devastated since that time (can't stop thinking about the issue, losing sleep and concentration, etc.) and to make matters worse, the penalties will likely be financially disastrous.
I have just consulted the I Ching on my best course of action in this situation, in hopes that I can work something out with the authorities and mitigate the penalties. I drew 50.1.2>30. Not sure what this means for the outcome....my read is that the legal action correctly positions me with cosmic forces? Any insights would be much appreciated during this trying time. Thanks!

50.2 makes me ask you if their claims are valid or it's about a mistake in your tax form. If it's about a mistake, your casting seems auspicious.

The code of Hex 50.2 says "My partner is jealous of me, but he will not be able to get close to me." So you need to confirm if someone is jealous of your success and make trouble for you.
The hex code of Hex 30 says "if you keep a cow, you will have good luck". I am not sure about this code. Does I Ching suggest that you should ask a female for help? Or maybe you need to find a cash cow to pay the penalties?

Most of the times yes, that's a valid claim, I'm afraid. What makes a difference sometimes its the intention and you were not in purpose avoided to pay taxes just took an not-that-informed course of action. Not sure if the ambiguity of the laws lead you to choose that way or not but sometimes the penalties vary .

probably you need to present clear your case, without induce contention and that way you could help them to help you. You probably did something wrong but you were not devious... maybe this is what Yi trys to say to you and somehow help you contain those devastating feeling and the affect this situation can have in your well-being.
