Hello the community,
I asked the Yi the question is it worth it to continue to live.
And the answer was 10.2.6 changing to 17
If it isn't cheering me up even with the sweet in the image of 17, it gave me lot to think.
10.2
Treading a smooth, level course.
The perseverance of a dark man
Brings good fortune.

It seems to talk about my loneliness, about the feeling I have that the way is long and slow and sometimes I would like fast and deep transformations. It seems to encourage to continue.

10.6
Look to your conduct and weigh the favorable signs.
When everything is fulfilled, supreme good fortune comes.

It seems to send me back my question, like karma or something like that, Causation law, maybe it will be worth it if I do what I must do for that?
I was also wondering if it was telling me look at your past and you will see your future and its worth.

Anyway, it seems to talk about loneliness and that I will get what I deserve, but I'm not sure about what it is.

For the 17, I guess it encourages me to continue too, and say that some rest will occur at night, at the end.
I would like that 17 tells something about not being that alone in future but I'm sure...

Do you have some insight for me please?

Thank you very much!

10.2.6 > 17

10.2 - (a) Treading a smooth, level course. (b) The perseverance of a dark man. Brings good fortune.
(a) Take it easy. Hang loose brah. Find a less stressful situation. (b) Keep going even though you are depressed, it attracts good things.

10.6 (a) Look to your conduct and (b) weigh the favorable signs. (c) When everything is fulfilled, supreme good fortune comes.
(a) Review your habits and/or what you are doing. (b) Which works best for you? What doesn't? (c) You are as responsible to take care of yourself as much as anything else, and when you do that, or complete the course, really really great things will come to you.

17 Following and aquiring a following as context. The Yi is speaking in the lines about what one is looking for, following after, and about aquiring a following of your own. This idea of leading by service not by force, may tie in with the idea besides that, you have to take care of yourself, not just your career/social/family responsibilities and ideals. Or it may refer to what course you are following.

I think the direct answer to your question is yes, life is worth living, that's pretty dark man you are wounded, and you need to take care of yourself and work on your habits and practices physical/mental/emotional/spiritual. Or complete your chemotherapy or something.
Hope this helps.

Hi polaire, a clear yes. That's what I think, as well! Just follow the path of life. Continue. The whole hexagram 10 is about continuing - doing your steps. Don't look sidewise, keep yourself away from power struggles and all that (10.2). See the positive things and all your blessings. (10.6) And 17 is following ... and also take your time, have a good time.
All the best

Polaire,

Take this moment to realize and to really feel that *you* are seen by the Oracle.

Line 2 says that you
(the lonely hermit)
should persist,
take it easy & enjoy the scenery.
Line 6 may reference whatever series of events you went through that put you in this lonely state. And now that is over.
You survived it.

Does this feel relevant?

Thank you moss elk, yes it's something when the Yi see your heart and talk to it seriously. I really like the idea to read the past as a past and not making a revival of it at each though. I went through my work of those last years, my love disappointments, trying to figure something from it. For the work it has bloom in a large update and some decision to change this area and for the love life it still work in progress, I persist :) thank you
