I received an unexpected and surprising proposal today. When I asked the Yi if I should accept, they answered 64.1.3.5 to 1. I'm mulling it over, and I would love any input you have to offer. I can't put these people off for a month or two as I'd like to. I have to respond on a timely basis if I'm going to accept it. It seems to have potential, but does it really? Is it the opportunity? It requires a total commitment, so that I won't be available for the opportunity if it is not and it's still to come, and I won't be able to work on my project much either. Is there something hidden about this opportunity that I haven't seen that may indicate it's not such a lucrative direction after all?

Thanks for your help.

Love,

Val

Oh, Heavens, Val!

(*giggles* - I promise you that pun wasn't intended!)

Don't you ever get any easy decisions? Not ever?!!

I'd really hate to offer any advice on something like this but I know you wouldn't act just on my thoughts so, for what it's worth, my gut feeling would be 'Go for it', on the basis of 64.5 and Hex.1.

Not sure how lines 1 & 3 of 64 fit though, except that you can't get from 64 to 1 any other way.

Hope someone else is still awake to look at this with you. It's waaaaay past my bedtime.

Good luck and a big hug to you.

Love,

Shelley

Hi Shelley...

Thanks so much for your input. In that 64 is the hexagram for "not yet complete, but almost there" and line 1 advises holding back and, as Gene says, line 3 has not made the transistion yet, but is ready, I feel this reading is telling me the time is near indeed, but this opportunity is not the opportunity.

There's a sucker born every minute, and I'm one of them. I'm a sucker for lines like "I think your paintings are wonderful." Truth be told... my paintings are good, but not wonderful. I would have ended up a little fish in a great big pond had I accepted this offer. I'm staying my course with this project, which I would have had to put on the back burner had I accepted this offer.

Love,

Val
