My honest first reaction: if you want a yes-no answer, flip a coin. (You'll know what you want while the coin is in the air... But then again, you must want this to continue, otherwise you wouldn't be asking...)

58 seems quite a positive hex for relationships and mutual growth. Both the lines support this. There is a caution against making the other person a reflection of yourself, in seeing only what you want to see, in letting your wanting color your vision.

51 Shock! Breaking out of conventional ways of seeing things. Perhaps some big surprises in store, and some learning experiences.

I always find it interesting when a double hex converts to another double hex, though I don't know that it holds any particular power.

Yes, the wording was very dualistic. I forget sometimes that my questions aren't formed correctly.

Hi, I wrote last night, but had a computer freeze...my 1st instinct would be to pass this, unless it is a lesson you want to learn.
Lake is good, no doubt, but keeping the surface calm and joyus would require a lot of restraint and controlled behaviour from your side -do you want that much carefulness to be the part of this love story?
From my personal experiance, Shock was never a good result - it revealed that the other side did not see the things as I had and just did not care as much as I did.
Hope this helps, as you asked for the honest, 1st reaction.
It would pay off to ask differetly formulated question, like : What will happen if i decide to persue this relationship?
