I have been feeling very conflicted about work recently. On one hand I have a really great job that I am very lucky to have, tons of flexibility, and in a field that is very competitive and that I have really worked my way up in.

At the same time, I have been at the company for 10 years and I just have this feeling that I have outgrown it, and the mentors who used to really guide and motivate me now tend to frustrate me. I have so much flexibility that I think that I could work to reshape my role in different directions - but part of me feels that I won't really move forward unless I have to and the safety net of the job is removed. That being said it feels very scary and somewhat stupid to let the job go. It's not easy to find the equivalent and many other opportunities would require working for a larger corporation, etc which I'm less interested in.

And today especially I have just been feeling very frustrated by work and completely unmotivated, so I asked: "is work what is making me feel so down and unmotivated?"

I received 49 Radical Change changing to 36 Brightness Hidden, with changing lines 4 and 5.

I'm very new to this, but Radical change seems about as clear as it can get - unless I'm missing something. And I'm not quite sure how to take 36, although it does feel true to a feeling I've had, not just in work, over the last few years. I have also received readings changing to 36 a few other times in different areas (relationship, true purpose) so I'm curious about that one in general.

36 means being wounded or weakened.
49.4.5> 36 clearly shows you need a revolution in this context of 36; you should change the "mandate" bravely and confidently.

It may mean changing your job; but also your lifestyle, relationship dynamics in work place, etc that have effect on how you feel about the job.

Interesting, thank you. - i like change the "mandate" as that feels less extreme and more doable.

And I didn't initially think wounded or weakened from 36, but I can see how it could have that meaning. From what I read 36 seemed like it was more about hiding or protecting your true strength, either in order to protect it or to protect yourself/survive. But wasn't totally sure how that related here, so the idea that the change needs to come in a different context - bravely and confidently - is helpful.
