I just started a new freelance job. The organization that I work for is very important for me and I really want to do well there. I am answering their customer help e-mails and I sent a client information for a fundraising web site. The client answered "Thank you but this web site is not in use in our country". Well... It sucks... I had no idea... Beacuse I there are some campaigns on that site from our country. Appearently they were posting from abroad.
So I didn't answer them because simply I have no idea what to say! and I am not sure If I should act like it didnt happen - just close the ticket, tell someone about it or answer the client with a web site that works and again, not tell anyone.
So I asked I ching : "How bad is the situation?"
And the answer was 49.1.5 to 62.
Then I asked "what is the best course of action?"
And 41.1 to 4.
I need your help in interpretation lovely OC community! I am totally freaked out. I know they won't fire me over it. But I don't want to ruin my first impression and I really need my contract extended after 6 months!
