Dear friends,

This thread is a continuation of 'Apparent contradiction in Hex 42'.
To sum up, I need to find a job in order to remain in the UK. The reason for staying here is love.
Having said that, I asked the Yi if I would find work before my visa expires, which is bound to happen in few weeks.

The answer: Hex 54, first moving line.

"Nine at the beginning means:
The marrying maiden as a concubine.
A lame man who is able to tread.
Undertakings bring good fortune."

After getting a wise advice from a friend in this forum, I asked the Yi a more constructive question: What should I do to find a job and solve my visa problem?

Hexagram 12, fifth moving line.

"Nine in the fifth place means:
Standstill is giving way.
Good fortune for the great man.
What if it should fail, what if it should fail?
In this way he ties it to a cluster of mulberry shoots."

I tend to think that the Yi is saying that I am going to be offered a position below my qualification (I do not mind at all...), because the Marrying Maiden first line.
But I do not know what to make of the Hex 12 Standstill.

If anyone could help with this interpretation I would be extremely grateful.

All the best,
Mirian

from my shoes, i see the 35 as the overall meaning. I hear the Yi advising something like: "To turn the time of 12 into 35, 'Get it in writing!, fix it!, SOMEthing'!"

If something moves, TAKE IT.

In my exp, this has line has marked a nearly unbelivable change, (unbelivable because things had been SO stuck, that any movement is miraculous) for the better.
