Hello all,
I have been just now confronted with an opportunity of a part-time job, but Im not sure whether to say yes or no. I have been quite busy in my recent work, and there are still two years untill i finish my project here. So I asked I ching shall I go for the part time job as well? I got answer 47 changing to 29. I do not know what to think, innerly, I feel like times will be difficult with getting the project done at my current work anyways, so I am not very keen on taking on the part time job as well. But there is the other side of the coin - in my business, there are not so many opportunities, so i usually grab for any extra chance i get..

What dou you guys think? Thank you for your tips and answers. You ve already helped me once, hope u will be able to help me shed some more light here :) cheers. eva

Dear evas,

47.4 >> 29 - In my view, the Y is saying yes, take the opportunity, but don't expect to sail through. This can be draining, slow and frustrating at times, so you will get there in the end but make sure that you are aware of the situation and that you can handle it.

Hope it helps a bit:bows:

That is a good idea, I think. I have experienced 47.4 as a bit tiresome and, also, it gets me impatient, as it takes a while to get results (sometimes people don't respond quickly...) so all in all it can drain your energy, but as I said you get there in the end ;)

A quick reading: the current situation (job) is Confined (47), and in a bronze chariot (line 4) it is difficult to change direction. This could bring you in Repeating Chasms (29). Maybe an approach alternative from described in line 4 makes changing direction a better idea? Hope this add something. Best regards.

Dear Jiang,
so if i understand you correctly, I am not able to control the situation at the moment (47) and it could get me even more trouble (29) if i take the additional part time job? I am not sure what you mean by the last sentence "Maybe an approach alternative from described in line 4 makes changing direction a better idea? " - u meant i should try to avoid getting into chasms? many thanks :) have a nice evening

I shouldn't use the words 'control the situation', the hexagrams name is 'Confined', has notting to do with loosing control imo. Line 4 speaks of an approach difficult to change direction (the bronze chariot) I read this as an invotation to change approach. Dont ask me how, but in Hilary's comments on this line are some hints. Nice evening to you to :)
