I'm about to start training as a Kids Yoga Teacher and some of the training will take place in another state in September and at present we have to apply for a declaration to cross into another state re the COVD19. The course is only run once a year and I'm keen to get the qualifications and move forward in my life.
What do I need to know about being on the GC as planned in September?
Hex 11.6>26
From Hilary -
Line 6
'The bulwarks fall back into the moat – don't use the army.
From your own city, declaring the mandate.
Constancy means shame.'

Does the bulwarks falling into the moat mean the borders will be open to me - not sure about not using the army (the borders are being patrolled) or does it mean by the time I go the borders will no longer be closed or patrolled?
Declaring the mandate I'm guessing is applying for the declaration as I'm not travelling from a hotspot - at this point we've only had 4 cases of COVD19 since March.
Not sure about the constancy although all in all it looks to me I'll be able to cross the border to be there for the practical component of the yoga training.

That's an interesting interpretation of line 6. Generally line 6 is about the end of the harmonious time and the beginning of Hex 12, or stagnation.

However your interpretation having to do with the literal statement of the line. Not sure what "GC" is but I'm curious to see if it works out as you say. Based on my usual interpretation of this line, I would say it's about contradictory orders from the local governments (perhaps contradictions between states) and so you will have to wait or be delayed in some form (hex 26).

What does GC stand for?

26. is the perfect hexagram for describing a class teaching yoga! The Image is of wise men coming together to share knowledge and the lines are about energy coming up from the root chakra to the crown.

However, I'm wondering if 11.6 is pointing to the possibility the training will not be happening after all? I'm assuming it's an in person group class?

"The bulwarks fall back into the moat - don't use the army."
Could that mean the plan for a class falls apart - don't fight it?

"From your own city declaring the mandate."
Perhaps there is a way online learning from your own home could get you certified?

"Constancy means shame"
Maybe what you need to know is that they may decide to go through with holding the class despite COVID warnings (who knows where we'll be in September?) and that you should get some sort of guarantee that even if they do, that you can get your money back if you decide not to attend if you don't think it's safe for you.

I'm not saying the I Ching is saying the class will be cancelled or that there would be a problem in going, only that it's always good sense to ask about the refund policy.

Thanks Virupaksha - yes sometimes I find the lines of the hexes can actually be literal!!

Yes I thought that too Rosada about Hexagram 26 but yes also I may be 'held back' from actually attending.

You could be absolutely correct - the arrangement is if we can't physically come together for the class it will be done via Zoom during the planned dates.
