Some time ago I asked.
What should be the signs that I’m doing well at understanding IC
12.2 > 6
When I decided to post on “personal daily hexagram” a reached to a situation of having 5 readings (each for one day) plus 2 for the month July waiting for my interpretation I was in panic . I couldn’t figure out what the Yi was talking about. Then I thought I should ask for guidance. Many questions came to my mind. To quit IC? To quit tossing for a while and just reading the hexagrams ? To find a middle way ? To do this ….? To do that… ? etc
I tried to find the most appropriate question to ask but I couldn’t find anything. So desperately I toss on that question :
“ HELP “ (actually it was Heeeeeeeeeeeelp )
I got 22.2.6 > 9
Here are some thoughts about those readings.( based on Wilhelm, Lise’s and Chris’s texts)
I’d appreciate if you could share with me your insights on those readings.
12.2 > 6
12.2 : I seen the situation as receiving a big “No” . Between Yi and myself “No relation” . It speaks to me but I don’t understand what it tells me. It’s like watching to a movie in a foreign language without subtitles. What are my options here ?
1.Find someone to do the translation for you .(done that ! guilty of charges !!)
2.Just look and make a story from what you see. (there is a danger there but it works if you can do something else,eg listen to the radio or go out for a walk)
3.If it is seemslike an interesting movie, when you can, try to find a copy with subtitles. Then you can find what was the story about.
6 : “Compromise !! One prepares well before one starts.
“ There is a contention. This is not a good situation neither a bad one.Is just a difficult and uncertain situation.
I see 6 as contention with balance. A balance between the brave hero and the wise judge.
In my opinion , the Yi tells me that the conflict will be always there. Listen what the Gong says. Find your equilibrium.
22.2.6 > 9
It make sense to me what LiSe says about 22.2
“Waiting by letting time flow by is a waste. Waiting is part of life, so let it live. Any part of life thrown away is a crime against life. Make waiting a beautiful thing in its own right.”
I hear theYi telling me this. “ the bad news is that don’t except a progress in the near future. You have to wait !!!! the good news is that you can enjoy that waiting. You have not access to the subtitles yet, but you can make your own story from the scenes you see in that movie. But remember this story maybe not the right one.
22.6 things are going to be simpler in the future ??
9. Accept the slow way.
Line by line = 2 lines + 1 line= 3lines etc ……..
