Hello everyone.

I have very recently started studying Tui Na. As with anything else, the beginning is a challenge because I know nothing and have no experience, but it is also new and exciting and therefore on my mind a lot. I asked "Where will continued study and practice of Tui Na lead me?" and got 16 changing to 2.

16 is interesting, because it talks about an eminent person gathering followers. The changing line specifically mentions gathering people around oneself. I wonder, though, if the eminent person may refer to the teacher, as he has gathered an interesting group of students who all seem to want to learn and do the things he wants.

I am puzzled by the mention of music here. Music plays a HUGE role in my life... but if the question has to do with where studying Tui Na will take me, I don't understand why the mention of music. It's funny, I can apply music and what it brings to my life to almost any situation, but I never thought of it being included in this. Then again... there's a lot to be said for the healing power of music. Perhaps, after I become way more accomplished at Tui Na, I'll find a way to include music into the healing process?

Hex 2 makes a lot of sense to me because it talks about being receptive (me receiving knowledge) and about not trying to lead the way - which I obviously wouldn't think of at this point.

I'd love to hear what anyone else has to say about this, as I'm sure I've overlooked and / or oversimplified things. Also ... does anyone else here practice Tui Na?

Your puzzled will be easy to understand if you think back to 5000 yrs ago: at the time music is the only entertainment. So music here should be understood as entertainment.

It will cost you lots of time, but you will also have lots of fun. Although someone may think you are crazy, but you will insist and learn much.

Good luck.
