Dear all

What an eventful year! I have found love, set aside money enough to buy a car, and found my first open-ended job I have just started. A propos this last bit I am not sure about this job, at all. I don't like the people - there seems to be a fundamental friction between my colleagues and I. I have in the past enjoyed great and terrible work relations, I have one of those all-encompassing passionate personalities that people either love or hate (and also one of those brilliant minds people are jealous of. I am not bragging. I would rather be someone else than me, someone less brilliant and less insecure). I tend to think this time I won't stick for long, just a feeling but quite strong.
I asked the Iching what lessons I will learn from the next year, and received 41.1.2.6 to 2. I think I will receive great lessons and that it will learn an awful lot, but I also think that this job will end soon and something else will pop up. I need to be attentive to my environment and ready to catch opportunities.
What do you think?
Thank you for your time and your wisdom :bows:

Glad to hear that last year went so well for you!

Lines 1 and 2 of 41 speak of a need to find a balance - complete affairs, and go quickly, and reduce something - then line 2 speaks of increasing something but not taking action. Line 6 sounds like a combination of the previous two, in a way, as it advises increasing something and taking action.

So perhaps the lesson of the new year for you is finetuning when to increase/decrease, and when to act/not act.

Dear Diamanda

Thank you for your interpretation, it makes a lot of sense. It was an eventful year but definitely not an easy one! I look forward to a year of fine-tuning then, I have had my share of events for a while!
Blessings :bows:
