So I got word that a scene that I filmed for a show that started airing in May made the cut and will be airing this month. I was contacted by the production team to use my intuitive abilities to do some life coaching for one of their cast members. All went well, and now the time has come for it to air on television. I asked the I Ching:

How will I be perceived by the audience? 44.3>6 whew!
Well in all honesty I knew from the time I started this career that it would not be accepted too well by a lot of people who are dead set on continuing in their religious dogma. I have for a while now been considered evil, satanic and devilish because of the type of work I do. But now a larger platform invites more rhetoric from the masses, I suppose.

Bliss takes a deep breath, sinks into her chair and ask herself, "What in the heck have I gotten myself into?"

Yellow light. Supreme good fortune.
Midday has come; the sun shines with a yellow light. Yellow is the color of measure and mean. Yellow light is therefore a symbol of the highest culture and art, whose consummate harmony consists in holding to the mean.

Yellow Bright Bird. Very auspicious.
Always look for the center. If you are not sure you will actually hit the target, then stay in the middle, never leaving it very far. If you try to climb higher or travel farther than your own Tao indicates, you will make a big fall some day. Not only losing your possessions (14?), but your friends as well: only those who go their own road have real friends. People leave those who go beyond their own size.

Deep breaths are good. Keep your objectivity.

It's the same basic question you've asked, sounds like. And though 44.3,6 - 6 seems to contradict the first reading, I think it's just seeing it from the other side. I like how Wilhelm's commentary speaks of it. It too speaks of walking in the middle, just from a different angle.

There is no skin on his thighs,
And walking comes hard.
If one is mindful of the danger,
No great mistake is made.

There is a temptation to fall in with the evil element offering itself-a very dangerous situation. Fortunately circumstances prevent this; one would like to do it, but cannot. This leads to painful indecision in behavior. (deep breath) But if we gain clear insight into the danger of the situation, we shall at least avoid more serious mistakes.

Going back to a few popular and highly controversial personalities: Howard Stern, Rush Limbaugh, Whoopi Goldberg, Bill Maher, George Carlin, Dennis Miller, Stephen Colbert, etc, they never lose their sense of levity. They're serious about their position: horns? hell yes, but their way of dealing with their audience always has a lightness. They can laugh at themselves. Their birds fly right into their nets.

I'm going to make it my business to study the personalities you mentioned. It's funny, I just watched one of Oprah's shows where Whoopi spoke about her life, and I thought, wow she's so fearless. I love it.

My goal in this work is to always maintain a very high level of integrity. I want to always be someone that people feel they can trust. I want to always be fair in my approach, be loving and kind. And one thing I never ever want to lose is my sense of humor. I love making myself laugh. That makes me happy. I'll always remain true to my inner being and do my very best to "walk in the middle".
