Got 12 no lines for one of the 2 choices. 58.2.5.6 > 21 for the 2nd. 1st option is keeping the current place, the 2nd is letting it go with no specific alternative. Any good advice on interpreting these as 2 choices?

12 Stagnation doesn't seem great but the top 2 lines in 58 suggest some danger. Is the danger avoidable?

Your readings seem to point to some exchange that needs to be worked out in order to make any progress. I don't think there's any actual danger. Just small obstacles you'll have to get through. Seems like its not all up to you. It's including whoever else would be involved.

Maybe if you shared more I could make more sense out of it. The advice just seems to be about exchange with another or others. Being just a bit cautious is not wrong, you don't want to play all your cards in one hand. But not to be unreasonably cautious to the point of stagnation and also not to start a war.

In fact it seems like if you do play your cards right something very good will come about or happen. Just don't make any rash decision. Does that ring any bells? Or help some?

I looked at this a little more. Above is just my own opinion of this reading, but here I give you what the books say.

58.2- you're confident and stable. You know what you want or need to do. Remain honest with yourself and others, then there will be nothing to repent. Good fortune.

58.5- be selective, cautious in your choices. Remember to be honest, clear, and focused. Then you should be able to avoid any trouble. Don't place your trust in something or someone, if the situation is already disintegrating.

58.6- you naturally attract to good people, you can enjoy life with. Just remember again to stay clear, focused, stable, and patient. You don't need to rely on others to travel your
path. Relying on others for happiness will
cause you to forget yourself, where you are
and where you're headed. So its like you can
enjoy the company of others as long as you
don't depend on it.


12- is lost harmony, lost or lack of communication with what is good. Legge says "what is good departed, what is bad has
arrived." In 12, you withdraw for a little while, until you see a clear way forward. Sometimes its just bad timing. Sometimes its just feeling stagnant where you are. 12 doesn't usually last very long, at least not in my opinion. Things in 12 just aren't working together.

21- you bite through, to get to the truth of 58 the joyous exchange.
