Last month I asked about a missing item that I just found today. I'm now looking for sun glasses that have been missing for about 6 weeks. I know they are in my house, but where? I asked "where are the sunglasses?" and received hexagram 9 Small Taming, with changing lines 4, 5 and 6. the resulting hex is 34 Great Vigor. I am thinking they are hiding under furniture of somewhere, and I need to move things and create a space in order to find them?

I hate losing things, it's so frustrating. I have a hard time with questions like these, because I'm not entirely convinced the I Ching is some sort of deity that sees all, but the suggestions it puts forth seem to indicate that it's somewhere high up? Think about the physical images of the two hexagrams you received. They are wind above sky, and thunder above sky. Sky is usually the highest point of the trigrams, so things being above it indicate a precise situation. Also consider that all the upper lines change, yet the lower ones don't.

So yeah, perhaps they're on a high shelf or something? Especially (disregarding the I Ching for a sec) since you mention that you're looking under everything, so you're thoughts are on the ground rather than up high. "It's always in the last place you look" (naturally...)

Where are the sunglasses?
9.4.5.6 > 34

Searching for lost items is one of the fun things at Clarity. Look where shoes go, but you may need to stir things about to find them.

thank you for all these great responses! i was very encouraged by my last reading looking for the lost ipod because it turned out to have been very accurate. it's just that i could not "see" the meaning. OK. well, I'll let you all know what happens in regards to the sunglasses.
