Hello,

I've been trying to find a small paper item that I have kept for many many years. A decade! I planned to scan it and use it as an artwork but never got around to it. Now I go looking for it, and I cannot find it. I thought I had put it in a tin in a drawer in my office, but I cannot find it anywhere. I did do a massive clean out and tidy up of all my stuff about four months ago, and now I'm really sad that I might have thrown it out.

Where is the item?

64.4.6 > 7
The noble one is cautious when differentiating things so that each finds its place. Well certainly it seems I was not cautious enough when sorting through anything.

64.4 Perhaps I have packed it away in to a cupboard, away from where I think it is somewhere in the dark.

64.6 warns again foolish excesses... Perhaps I have accidentally thrown it out.

gah!

Where is the item? Good question.
I'm not very good in this divination department. As a beginner, I can only try. Hope you don't mind.
If you can remember that you have thrown the paper item out, then there's no way of finding it again.
However, if you think that you have misplaced it somewhere, then there is still a chance.
From your divination H64.4.6, it will be difficult to find the lost object but eventually it will be found. It is located near some water features or river, geographically south from where you divine the H64.4.6 initially.
Happy finding!

Try to hear around among people who You might have mentioned this paper to.... Or whom where around You at the time You had it.

The upper (going) trigram is also represented by the Eye (where You saw it).
The lower (coming) trigram is also represented by th Ear (where You probably can get to know something from others about where it could be/had been)

Do you have any kind of folder you put similar items for using them for your artworks ? Looking at the hexagrams onay it looks like an assembly (7) of not yet art (64).

Where is the item?
64.4.6 > 7

Sorry I missed this earlier, but, yes, you discarded it, as I read the casting. 64 is the hexagram of discarded items, and 7 implies straightening up. But look on the bright side. Your life is now neater :) And, as often happens, you may find something better to replace it.
