I have my wedding band somewhere in the house

I asked the yi where I could find it and I got

61.1 to 59

Does that mean it is underneath something?

Funny because of the 61 thread going on, and line 1 starting.

If I got this for something precious lost, I would try to connect with the ring on a subliminal level, but not try to force an answer. Trying sometimes chases recall away.

You might try lying down awhile, releasing it, and it may come to you.

Good luck.

Hi Sunny -

I think Meng is correct. You know where you lost the ring, or rather some unconscious part of you knows. The problem is bringing it into consciousness. Worry and turmoil won't do it. The Yi will help but you must meditate on the answer. It is not literal but symbolic.

Meanwhile, here is a happy lost wedding ring story to consider.

Last year my wife Ann lost her wedding ring while swimming in the middle of a large lake. She had an approximate idea where the ring slipped off her finger, but the lake was too deep to dive to the bottom, and much too large to think about finding a simple gold band nestled in the mud.

When Ann swam ashore, she met someone - a stranger - who said she lived on the lake. My wife told her about her loss. The woman said she was an amateur diver, and said she would try to find the ring. My wife was grateful, but the lake was very large, and she had no real hope. Besides, why should this stranger work so hard to find her ring?

A week later, maybe 5 or 6 days later, the woman called my wife on the telephone and said she had found the ring. She had dived every day in the area my wife indicated, and finally she had seen a glint of gold on the lake bottom. Sure enough - it was the ring - after nearly a week under water!

The woman wanted no reward. She was very happy she had been able to find the ring, it was a treasure of great value to her. She would take nothing from us, although we were overwhelmed by her efforts. In the end, Ann, who is a weaver, offered the woman a special scarf, one of the best she had ever made - and the woman accepted.

I can't tell you how good we felt about this whole episode. I thought I had just lived out a fairytale. So, you see, miracles happen. I hope one happens for you, Sunny.

Linsday, this is really a beautiful story !!! Awesome !!! Love it !!! One could "replace" the lost ring with a lost , and what happened between your wife and the other woman is amazing. Its like a fairytale indeed.

Sorry Sunny for intruding in your thread like that but couldn't help it. You got very good advices so the only i can do is wish you good luck with your ring

Maria

Sunny, this may be a long shot but there's no harm in trying.

The image of 61 is hollow, which could resemble a container of some kind, even a ring or jewelry box. Line 1 could resemble the bottom or first drawer.

Expanded to a larger image, the box could be a house and line 1, the floor. Under a dresser?

Great story Lindsay!

When I cannot find something, I ask someone. Like you - Sunnygirl - did. Ask the Yi, or a person, but the best answers I always get from St. Anthony. And he doesn't mind at all that I am not catholic.
There is a little rhyme for it, but I don't know it in English. Maybe someone else here knows. Often I say it loud, and right then I find my lost thing back.

But even buying a new one to replace the lost item can make me find the lost one back. Not the most useful solution though..

It seems that the act of asking loosens up something in your mind (61.1 changes to 59!). Opens your eyes, or your intuition. Which is what 61.1 is speaking about. Like Lindsay and Meng also say.

St Anthony

The rhyme is:-
Tony Tony gather round, somethings lost and can't be found!!

or..

St. Anthony, St. Anthony
Please come down
Something is lost
And can't be found

I do this too (not religious/catholic) and what I've lost always comes back on its own!! I lost my ring once at my friends flat. It was gone for weeks and I asked St anthony to bring it back to me and the next day my friend rang laughing he had stepped outside his front door and stood on something- my ring!! :D

Hi again,

Lise has for 61.1 : The white tiger: Auspicious When there is a snake, there are no swallows

Wonder if you have something resembles a tigers skin in the house. Clothes, pillows, sheets etc.

Didn't someone mention that your ring would be found near water, in the kitchen or bathroom? A private affair?

Old thread, I know. But I found it searching for 61.1, and I got engaged in the conversation. I wanted to add a couple of things, for you if you read, but specially for other people in the future who will find this thread searching for interpretations, in the archives. As I always feed from your interpretations, it's good to try to contribute as well!

First thing: I am increasingly convinced and certain, for my own relationship with the Yi, that when we ask sincerely something, the reply is literal and not a mirror, or a prompt to reflection. When I sincerely, with no double meanings or confusion in mind, ask about other people's feelings, I got a straight forward and clear reply, which is in all cases I could later track -a lot!-, very accurate. Terribly accurate. The problems arise when I am not being truthful with the Yi, and instead of making the question I want to make ("how does he feel for me now?"), I go in circles, trying to mask the real intention of my question with something more complex. Then is when I get those kind of "mirror / reflection" replies.

So, when you asked about your lost ring, the reply 61.1 to me was strictly literal. The Yi was not saying "oh, this is very important to you, etc etc" as a reply to that question, but it was giving a location. And we should find out how 61.1 could be interpreted as such.

Your first impression about meaning to be underneath something, I considered it correct. Underneath something or in the ground, where a tiger and a snake can be. Second, I instantly remembered that 61 is the image of a nest, not just a hollow space, like a container (later I read that interpretation and I agreed), but a literal nest. So, question was: Which place of the house can be called the nest? And I thought: the bedroom / the bed in your bedroom, where you and your husband sleep. The floor of your bedroom. Particularly under the bed.

Then I kept on reading and I finally I see where you found it. It seems to me, then, that once again the Yi shows how straight forward and clean its answers can be when we make clean and simple questions, given the correct translations, of course and interpretations!

Last... it's amusing to read about San Antonio. Here in Argentina works just as great as you describe. I wasn't aware he delivered his location services worldwide.

Thank you all for this wonderful vault of wisdom you create here.
