Just a general question about the future of my love life...

What is going to happen?
Hexagram 35, 1,4,6 > 24
The progress seems to be blocked... but hexagram 24 shows no block in movement..
Any idea what the lines want to show me?

Hexagram 35.1.4.6 > 24

'What is going to happen' implies what is coming towards you from outer sources.

35.1 shows that something already happening will continue, with bad results.
35.4 is ratty behaviour, i.e. cunning, underhanded behaviour, a love rat.
So an existing partner, or someone who you'll soon meet, will have these unpleasant traits.

35.6 sounds tricky. This line usually gets interpreted as a need to forcefully battle one's own mistakes, but that's not clearly mentioned in the actual text of the line. The text shows someone swiftly progressing his horn (similar to 44.6, in which someone copulates with his horn). 35 is one of the hexagrams mentioning sex, so perhaps that's what is partly meant here. The line continues to say that in order to preserve/tie, someone uses a harsh attack on the 'city' (not sure what this means here).

I personally don't like 24 in love questions. First, because it mentions 'friends' (friend-zoning no good if someone is after love), and second, because 24 shows indifference (easy come easy go).

So overall, it sounds to me like quick sex with a ratty person is approaching, which will result in indifference.

I think it's saying that there are good options and possibilities here: gifts that can be multiplied (and even mated!) But you need to be an active participant: you don't sit back like a mouse with his/her arms crossed, nor act like an attacking army, but you do need to actively take part.
