Hi,

I've made a U-turn on my professional situation by accepting a not so good offer, after months of
inactivity.

asked i-ching - "reflect my current professional situation"

and got back hexagram 30.1.4 changing to 52.

it seem a good reading...
I still feel afraid of the change since i can not see a clear path ahead.
secretly i still hope for a return to the old ways.

Thank you for your help.

Through 52 meditation or stillness you can find 30 clarity. Line 1- you're confused, don't know which steps to take or which direction to go in. Line 4- perhaps you rush ahead blindly, rather than with care and caution, and exhaust yourself. Line 4 can have several meanings, the worst being the new profession doesn't work out, or could simply reflect the feeling of abandonment or feeling out of place.

So it seems like the advice would be to have clarity and peace of mind. Know which
direction we want to go in, and then head
there with care, tact, and a little caution.

Now that I look back at your post, seems a direct reflection of your thoughts doesn't it?

thank you blue_angel, your interpretation fits tightly.
unfortunately it also means my suspitions were valid.
I guess i will have to wait and see.
right now i have no real choice of moving back, at least that's what i feel.
achieving stillness seems rather dificult at this time to me though.

If you have no choice but to go ahead with this new profession, the advice would be to know which clear steps need to be taken and go ahead slowly with care and tact. If its not what you want and there is choice to go back, figure out which steps to take. The advice would still be the same.

once again thank you very much blue_angel.
in times of trouble, a outsider's view is very welcome.
thank you.

I do empathize, easy for an outsider to view and give what may seem like good advice. (Then again its not my advice but what I think Yi's advice is.) Not easy being the one to make the choices and decisions, and then live with them. I hope it all works out for the best for you. :)
