A friend in need asked "What can I do to win her back?" and got 43 changing to 4, and then asked me for help with the interpretation.

He is very eager in his attempt to get back with the girl and he sees 43 as encouragement to go for it. But, since there are so many moving lines I see hex 4 as the "dominant" one. Now, I'm a bit confused with that "youthful folly" thingy as it seems to be talking about restraint, tolerance, discipline, all of which are seemingly opposite to 43's resolutness, frankness and determination...

Or am I missing something out?

Thank you for your help.

My immediate impression is this answer describes the stubbornness and lack of insight in his eagerness to get back with her. Its like all he sees are his own wants, doe she really know whats going on (4) or is he being naive here ? Personally I think its more about a final break than getting back together - at least in my experience 43 has meant parting more than reuniting.

Yeah, Trojan's seen it. Hex 43 is about decisive separations, and Hex 4 is about coming to learn something that you need to learn. Put 'em together: the issue in the relationship is not one of getting back together, but rather of separating - learn to do it.

Huh, well.. then I was unfortunately right: restraint and discipline in the break rather than constant thinking about how to get back together. I guess he's feeling this way because the fact is that the girl really is sending some mixed signals (being a girl myself I was able to confirm this) and actually giving him (obviously false) hopes.
Thanks guys...

I passed your suggestions on to him, so he made a different inquiry, asking "What would be the best attitude to take towards her?"
and got 34.1.4 changing to 46

This calls for determination and a great deal of patience, to push to hard would be counterproductive and to give up would lose her completely, this looks to be a very difficult girl to please and Hex 4 says that you have a lot to learn about her, it ain't going to be easy.

As mentioned before, do not charge in like a man possessed, act reserved and quietly, do not get all excited, you will need a deal deal of patience with this girl, it requires a softly and slowly approach/attitude then all will go well.

This is, actually, the best advice for him. Not only concerning this issue.
Thanks a lot.
