Okay my question may sound silly because I am not yet in an official relationship w her. But the reason why I ask this question comes from the idea that marriage is the final destination of love. I am yet 22 and my love for her feels like the real "first love" cuz it's not like what I have experienced ever before in my life. So I am still confused, inexperienced in dealing with this feeling and our relationship. silly question yes but still wanted to hear what Yi has to say

As i mentioned in the original answer i think this is your perspective on the situation which is positive, i think you should find out how she feels, as i mentioned the line is positive for you, not so much for two people.

Maybe ask her on a date see what she says,

i know its hard if you are shy , who knows she might respect that, or she may not, whats the worst she can say is no, then you know and leave it at that.

But what about if she says yes? you might get a surprise.

I've known her for 6 months now. We've never "officially dated" but have hang out many times in a group as we are both in a college club. (several times just two of us) I have tried to ask her out several times but she seems to avoid spending time with me. That's why I've asked for help from Yi. I am trying to get close to her and have some dates later this year.

Strangely, we have fought quite often (love and hate?), and I think that really makes me hard to ask her out. I am taking my time, she's taking her time too.

Ok well it appears ok to have these feelings yes maybe patience ayt the moment, you could just ask her coffe or soda or something, you may have a better idea how she feels then, the yi doesnt give clear messages about other people usually. I know sometimes we wish it would however it doesnt seem to work that way.
