What will be the effect if I learn off Eric tuttle for MA?

31-->3 (1/3/4)

What will be the effect if I keep learning taiji off Xuejun Wang for MA?

39-->46 (2/5)

Both seem positive, some help please and Thanks!

I would go with Mr.Wang if I were you, that's if he has a vacancy maybe, as Hex 46 indicates very promising results if you are prepared to work hard and fully join in.

Mr.Tittle is not for you. We each adjust to a teacher in a very different way, so if the connection isn't there, then progress will be so much harder and difficult to achieve.

The outcome (effect) of choosing either of the masters is going to be good for you but each in different ways - different from what you expect now.

Mr T
31 - Thus the superior man encourages people to approach him
By his readiness to receive them.

Mr W
39 - Thus the superior man turns his attention to himself
And molds his character.

The outcome may be with one that you become more open to others and with the other more self contained.
A new teacher, a fresh approach could open you to new perspectives. The same teacher could be a case of same old same old - you might find it harder to remain focused.
I would agree with WF that Tuttle may be difficult for you to adjust to......but maybe that will be part of the lesson.
The choice is yours.
Be Well

Thanks for the input...Tuttle seems promising- that said, he's 2 hrs out of my city, however on that note Wang says he won't teach gongfu unless you become a disciple= $10,000.

So IDK...I've seen what Wang does, I like the guy, tuttle interests me with Xingyi though.

On a side note, you could fly to China and learn first hand for $10,000, and the choice of styles available is huge.

If I were you I would indeed go to China for intensive training, 10 hours a day, 7 days a week, for a few months and you will come out fitter and way more skilled than messing around for years at some part time school.
