I ran into someone in public recently, who I know has admired me from a distance. I caught him staring on more than one occasion, and he is usually loud and extroverted but tends to be quiet around me. Even though I repressed it and disguised my feelings for him as disdain....I have feelings as well. I think he might be misunderstood and is super intelligent and interesting.

I don't remember much of the encounter except that I ran into him and he was saying something to me (was inebriated at the time.) This is the only time I've run into him during a social occasion. I asked the Yi, Will X reach out to me and contact me or make himself accessible?

I got 46.4 > 32

This seems very positive with regard to a contact/feelings. It seems like there is progress, although I only get a sense from him and little action. Or does the 32 hexagram mean things will stay as they are?

I would concern myself with the changing line first, which says "The king offers him mount chi. Good fortune." It seems to me that there is nothing to worry about although it may be the case where you would have to be the one who initiates action. Hexagram forty six indicates the need to make effort. That probably applies to you.

As far as human rituals go, the dance of initiation in romance belongs to the man, but the Yi is saying you must make a offering, so no, he won't reach out--not unless he's not feeling anything under the influence of a drug. Sorry, but no.
