Hi, all:
I asked the I Ching for some advice in regard to preparing and taking my MCAT this May. The reply: # 16, with no changing lines. I assume that means to study hard, be confident and believe in myself. I take # 16 as a positive and encouraging answer.

It's a perfect answer. I think you're reading it pretty accurately accurately. I like the way you're seeing 'be confident and believe in myself' as part of the picture, cuz that's a good way to read 16. Another layer of meaning for 16 in your case might include being very organized about what and how you study. An almost military discipline is suggested in 16 I think. Make it a big project, gear up enthusiastically, organize ruthlessly, get help with whatever you need.

Be inspired, plan ahead, be enthusiastic and be confident, you know that you can do this.

Hi all, i wish there was a way to change the font. I think i am not going to post
much because i have been doing the Yi for a long time by myself and of course am
convinced that i am right. So i am going to try to embolden myself Not to get into
this forum much. So # 16 is positive as everyone agrees, and so to
cssslw yes it does mean to be confident and believe in yourself. But it certainly
does not mean to study hard. Its meaning is, in this case, that you underestimate
your abilities and that you do not need to study so hard, providing that you are
convinced that medicine is your true calling, and that the exams will be easy for you.
the alternative is that you have picked the wrong major but i am presupposing that
that is not the case. Well, maybe you will tell us before too long. This is from
y i l l i y. I am an older person and i cannot see sans serif "i and l" letters
without squinting. ps i wish someone had given me this advice when i was
younger, many a time i studied too much when i should have gone out and
played !!
