Happy week fellow Clarity seekers!

I am waiting for a response from a hospital I have sent a request for a medical visit to. I am a bit nervous since they seem to have very outdated procedures (no phone booking, fax communication) and are very hard to contact by phone.

A couple of days ago, I asked:
Q.: Getting the booking from the hospital
A.: 33.6 > 31
Retreat, not very encouraging... but the most auspicious line, which I interpreted as: there's nothing else to do, refrain from taking any other initiative and simply wait...

Easier said than done! Today I consulted Yi again:
Q.: Receiving a response from the hospital
A.: 28.2 > 31
31 again as the relating hex... I am certainly trying to establish a connection with them! 28.2 seems to be positive.

Any thoughts? :bows:

Getting the booking from the hospital
33.6 > 31

The two ken trigrams suggest stones. Here, one does not get into a hospital unless admitted by a physician. In emergencies, the emergency room physician would admit. Where you are the system is apparently different. Do you want to be admitted to a hospital?

What I am trying to obtain is a booking for a medical visit with one of the hospital's specialists. The visit is for a relative of mine. I have complied with their procedures, sending a written request by the patient's MD and all the required details. I am now waiting for their response with the booking.

What do you reckon the readings suggest?

Your wait for a reply will not be long. Why aren't you dealing with the specialist directly?

I was not interested in a specific specialist, but in the hospital which has a great reputation as a research and clinical centre.
Thanks for your interpretation - I hope you're right!

No response

A week has gone by since I sent the request to the hospital and I have received no response.

A couple of days ago I sent an email to the head of the hospital department, informing her of the request and asking her to follow up on it. No response to that either.

I asked again:
Q.: Getting a response from the hospital
A.: 62.4,5 > 39

So this is a troubled situation indeed (39).

62.4:
Without fault.
Not passing, but meeting him.
Going forward is dangerous, one must be on guard.
No use to endlessly persist.

62.5:
Dense clouds, but no rain
from our western outlands.
The duke shoots an arrow with a line attached to it,
and takes what is in the hole.

It seems to say I won't get any response in fact and need to find alternatives - a different hospital perhaps?

Thanks in advance for any help... I really need to find a solution at the earliest.

What might the arrow be? Perhaps a specialist who has a "line" to the hospital? It has been my experience that large organizations are not particularly amenable to approach from unusual angles... not flexible enough.

Thank you Rinda. I don't know - after the initial phone contact and the unanswered fax / email I'm very perplexed, and wonder if indeed this is the right hospital to start a treatment at. The reading says there's no use in persisting... Maybe the hole I should throw an arrow in is another hospital?

Any other thoughts anyone?

Is a week an unreasonable delay? I have read of Brits going to Belgium for medical treatment and Canadians to the US to avoid delays of many months.

It is, to just get confirmation of the booking - not the actual visit.

Also, this is the season many medical personnel take their vacations. I doubt you can get a booking until a doctor reads the patient's medical records and gives approval for service.

There is very little to read. I was told to send the doctor's request and the patient's personal data, and I would get the booking. No medical records were required.

In my country, appointments for medical visits, both at public and private hospitals, are typically fixed on phone. This hospital is abroad and apparently works in a very old fashioned way. The simple fact that their website includes the phone numbers to call for visit booking, however they won't bother answering and even often have an automated message requesting to call during the working week i.e. when I am calling indeed!, delivers a very unprofessional image.

Can anyone help me with 62.4,5? Should I look for a different hospital?

Hi Cris,
It sounds to me like it's a good idea to look for another hospital but to not give up on the one you've tried. Weird I guess but clearly there's some reason for it.

Sounds like you've got yourself in a bit of a tizz about things - maybe best to calm down within.

I've always found if you have a Plan B, it helps you to somewhat be less caught up in the outcome of things.

Thanks Liss for your input :bows:

I have not received a reply from the hospital I sent the request to, and have a feeling I won't. Time to find a better alternative.

Trying to think out of the box, I asked Yi about a few disparate options:

* Hospital Y (a different one)? 29.1 > 60 -> a clear no-no

* Professor Z (working in the hospital I contacted already)? 11.6 > 26 -> does not bode well

* Getting a response from hospital X (the one I contacted already)? 9.1,2,5 > 52 -> the lines appear auspicious, but the combination 9 / 52 makes me think of squeezing water out of a stone...

* Where to find a consultation: 53.3,6 > 8 -> a high plateau? All the recommended hospitals seem to be in lowland areas...

* Asking for Doctor AB's (a researcher) help in identifying the best consultation: 42.0 -> now this sounds unequivocally positive...

Would you guys agree? Does anyone have any experience around the "high plateau" of hex 53?

Quick update: I ended up receiving indeed a letter from the hospital I had initially contacted, notifying a date for the appointment. In the meantime, however, I had contacted Doctor AB who suggested a professional in my area. That was the path I ultimately took.

Thank you for the update!

So 62.4.5>39 maybe only indicated temporary hindering.
