Hello All,

Im in the process of applying to medical school right now and Im doubting it a little. Ive worked hard for some time toward this goal but Im wondering if its just stubborness or just a continuation of momentum. I applied for 2010 but was unsuccessful by a narrow margin, (one spot left two weeks before start of class with a few candidates being considered for it - i got a dear john email). Sometimes I feel like its right and its going to go through this time and it should go through and other times like now I wonder if it should. Im a fairly introverted person, with a somewhat passive persona, and a little older and much less interested in competition and the sort I am likely to encounter in MD school and the profession.

So I recently finished a postbacc program with a 4.00 and have two interviews coming up at pretty good schools, one next week and one mid January. So I asked these questions:

Respectfully, is medicine right for me? 4.4.5 to 6
Respectfully, please show me an image of my suitability for medicine? 35.0
Respectfully, what should I know about my currently pending application? 57.5.6 to 46

Overall it kind of looks like a maybe to me. It is possible but not assured. Does anybody have any thoughts about these readings? Some further insight from the outside? Thanks very much

well line 6 of 57 does not look good for an application. And it does not look like medicine is right for you, or at the very least you are conflicted about it. But with 35 as the answer to your second question you seem suitable for medicine.

35uc for me has meant there are other options.
