Hi everyone!

I very often get readings and read others comments but not so often I feel like sharing. Thank for the silent support though.

This time I have a question about I would really appreciate having some help. Well, I would appreciate help very often but feel maybe too shy...

Anyway... Here it goes...

I asked I Ching, what do you think about having a mirror in front of the bed?

My question came up from the fact I read Feng Shui says it is not good to have a mirror in the bedroom, and it would be worse having it in front of the bed. I do have one at the house at the beach. Former owners have Chinese roots... Their bed might have been placed in some other way but at least the bed would have the mirror looking from the side. There are not more options considering the size and shape of the room. Maybe they don't use Feng Shui.

I have a usual feeling of something not clear in my life. Of course I cannot atribute that old and odd feeling to a mirror in a room I sleep eventually in the past 9 or 10 years. But...

In my other house I also have a mirror in the room. It is not in front of the bed though. I inherited that from my grandmother and it was given to her by her mother or grandmother... Deep roots.

And
Also in my partner's house there is a big mirror in the room. Nothing like fancy sexy mirrors in the roof, just over a drawers furniture (English is not my first language as you can tell)

Anyway, lots of mirrors around...

I got 11.1 > 46

I don't know if interpreting this as

There are roots associated to this like the images of the mirrors that can be infinite... That are some things that run underneath the surface without noticing but having strong influence and interconnection... But in the pushing upward I got lost, maybe this underearth roots push upward to the surface where they are shown... Which is what mirrors show: appearences...

But my no means I can get if IC considers this to be negative or positive. Maybe it is saying mirrors reflect what is underneath, which is complex (not necessarily negative) and maybe the Chinese Feng Shui tradition is like a prevention for not making this worse in difficult times, as reflection may increase the roots of problems, or maybe just mirrors mirror what it is... And there is nothing I should be afraid of.

I hope I didn't become too abstract or weird in my limited knowledge of English and spiritual matters but if someone feels can share with me impressions and opinions I would love that.

Thank you (I just covered the mirror as I used to do in the past. I used to do that before going to sleep)

Gardenia is not my real name but I thank that you accept confidentiallity. And I love the view and smell of those flowers

Nice day!

11.1 - 26 is energy flowing upward and says mirrors in the bedroom can have a more powerful effect than you might think.

Mirrors in the bed room are considered to be bad feng shui because they invite outsiders into your relationships. Likewise t.v.s.

Hi.

11.1 does not change into 26. It's 11.1 to 46 ..... However 11.6 does change to 26!

But this makes me wonder, did you read or transpose the entire hexagram upsidedown - top to bottom, instead of reading it the correct way, bottom line to top line? And if so, maybe your reading is 12.1 or 12.6?

It would be helpful if you could clarify. Thanks.

Others like intruders? 😱

It was 11.1 changing to 46, Pushing upward. Thank you for noticing the mistake and asking!

Welcoming others seems reasonable for me to think why I just thought about this matter long time forgotten...

Is it a major difference between the outcome of 26 or 46 considering we are accepting the idea that leting mirrors into the bedroom is not good at all?

I am not sure of the difference between 26 and 46 as resulting hexagrams, but I want us all to be looking at the same, correct reading, and I assume you do too.

11 is about Interplay (interaction, things coming together), and when that happens:
Smallness departs, greatness arrives, and then there is:
Promise and fulfillment.

So, it seems there is no dire warnings here about a mirror in front of your bed. Maybe, it's saying, sure, go ahead and try it. But then ....

Line 11.1 show us one way things can be connected; for example, when you pull up a clump of grass you might pull up another clump with it because they are connected at their roots - and these connected things might be objects, thoughts, feelings ....

So, for you, what else might be connected to putting a mirror in front of your bed: body image, vanity, superstition, comfort, fear, joy, ... (or maybe you have no strong feelings about it)?

It seems the reading is asking you to look at what might be - for you - connected with the mirror in front of you bed, and then make a decision about it based on your own thoughts, feelings and perceptions. The mirror is not the issue; what it's connected to - or what you connect it to - is what's important. But again, I see no other warnings or bad outcomes here.

Oh Fredda! That seems quite reasonable. I like Rosada's, suggestion maybe because I read about this Feng Shui thing in the past and it might be connected to recent things happening.
Thank you for your insights
