Sorry for the medical details, but I've just noticed what I think might be changes to a substantial mole I have on my chest. On the other hand, I'm not even sure if it's a mole or a wart. I'm definitely getting it looked at ASAP whatever, but I checked in with the Iching and asked,

1 should I get this looked at? hexagram 23 unchanging
2 what is it? hexagram 27 unchanging
3 is it potentially serious? 51.1.2.4.5 to 6
4 do i face immediate serious problems with it? 49.5 to 55
5 what will happen? 51.4 to 24.

Wow. I'm definitely having it checked now!

Its a good idea, whatever the readings - even if just for peace of mind...
Just that I do not get anything really sinister about the readings really - just a state of mind perhaps.
I was at a parents evening - a discussion where some really intelligent folk were on my table (well they had very good jobs at least). One was a risk assessor for a major insurance company - interestingly we had similar answers and ideas. Our remit was to look at allowing children to take risks - and we talked about risks involved in activities. This guy gave us some startling statistics about risk and death - from an insurance perspective. There are more deaths per day in the US of people involved in car accidents visiting relatives in hospital than from the people they were actually visiting..and 97% more folk die on the way to undertake extreme sports (road accidents) than from the activity itself. Another little statistic was that more males aged 16-25 die from self-harm than from disease and traffic accidents combined.

I just thought that when we ask about health - especially where we pose several questions, the answer may have absolutely nothing to do with specific problems. This is why I am always reluctant to pose questions about health, especially specifics.

I hope that it proves absolutely nothing at all - but have a safe journey to the hospital or clinic.....;)
