My daughter has enough financial aid to fully cover her tuition this year, but not enough for living expenses.
I cannot get a loan as I don't have good credit and she also was turned down for one, unless she gets a co-signer who she doesn't have either. There is one person who might do it but she just lost her long term job and has a temp job at the moment so we are not sure about her.
I asked what should DD do to get $$$ for expenses/a loan? and got 1.2-13

That line says according to Wilhelm:
Nine in the second place means:
Dragon appearing in the field.
It furthers one to see the great man.

Here the effects of the light-giving power begin to manifest themselves. In
terms of human affairs, this means that the great man makes his appearance
in his chosen field of activity. As yet he has no commanding position but is
still with his peers. However, what distinguishes him form the others is his
seriousness of purpose, his unqualified reliability, and the influence he exerts
on his environment with out conscious effort. Such a man is destined to
gain great influence and to set the world in order. Therefore it is favorable to
see him.

I told her to go see her financial advisor at the college. I called yesterday and the woman who answered the phone told me she needs a co-signer for a loan.
I asked this question today, and I am encouraging her to go talk to her personal financial advisor (not the same person as the person who answered the phone) and get help.
DD is a little squirrely about doing these things for herself but it seems like maybe it's the best bet.
Is there something I'm missing? What about the line the person she should see has "has no commanding position but is still with his peers." That doesn't sound like a financial advisor or maybe it is.
I don't know what we should do. Although the i c has been encouraging about the problem being resolved.

Creativity

My daughter has enough financial aid to fully cover her tuition this year, but not enough for living expenses.
I cannot get a loan as I don't have good credit and she also was turned down for one, unless she gets a co-signer who she doesn't have either. There is one person who might do it but she just lost her long term job and has a temp job at the moment so we are not sure about her.

Hexagram 1 means, above everything else, be creative! Don't settle for the obvious. Line 2, the dragon is emerging, see the great man...think outside the box, look outward and upward.

So brainstorm:
Go to the financial aid office and say that you can't attend school unless you have some housing! Ask them to help you (nicely).

You need housing...can DD share a place with somebody, and get a lower rent in return for housework, walking the dog, helping someone with chores, homework, etc?

Can she start a little business, selling something that college students want?

Can she attend campus events in the evening and sell glow sticks, which you purchase wholesale and sell retail?

I don't mean any of these things to be literal advice for DD...they may not be right. But the advice is to be creative, look for the creative idea just beginning to emerge, and look for help from someone who is active in a field of interest. It could be in a personal field of interest, a company that finds scholarships, a friend of DD's who has dealt with this, a sympathetic soul at the university financial aid office...

H13 points to a community or a fellowship...is there help from a church or an affinity group...or again, the possibility of living in a house with others keeps coming to mind.

Time to get creative.:)

"look for the creative idea just beginning to emerge"

I did notice that advice from someone's translation on the internet (can't remember where I read it)
I've been trying to think creatively about this since I got that reading.
The housing is one of the issues, but she needs to have some finances secured to even have steady housing.
She has a disability and needs an elevator building, so her housing is more expensive than most peoples is part of the problem.
Maybe she can somehow get more aid for housing from the school? She does live alone and maybe the advice is saying something against that?
I asked if she should go see the fin aid person and got 61.6-60

Yes, it is definitely advising her to see a certain special someone and seems to be indicating someone at the college. If the financial people go by the rules then she needs a co signer, could that be a few student or even one of the professors? That could indicate a person with no commanding position in the financial side of things.

Who can she get to co-sign a loan 63.1.6-53
Line one in my notes (mostly from clarity archives) says you are rushing things,
Line 6 says leave the past behind.
I know there is something about line 1 and 6 moving in the reading that is significant, but can't remember what.

She hasn't gotten money from the state at this point because she hasn't met the residency requirements, which if she would get her drivers license in the state we could write a letter of appeal to them.
I have been in touch with the state congressperson's office and they gave me that advice and told me they will act as a liason for the letter.Plus they are not necessarily associated with financial aid as WF suggests
I asked about the state money 24.2-19

Six in the second place means:
Quiet return. Good fortune.

Return always calls for a decision and is an act of self-mastery. It is made
easier if a man is in good company. If he can bring himself to put aside pride
and follow the example of good men, good fortune results.

Finally getting her license would be following the example of good men and good company could be the state representative's office which could also be the people of hex 13 which says not chaos in comingling but differentiation which the state would be as opposed to federal aid. But is this all the $$ she needs? hmmm.

I wonder if this is the answer?
Cause the other answers seem wrong, like go to disability office for help 58.3-43
that line was really negative (I thought):
Wilhelm
"Those who lack inner stability and therefore need amusement, will always find opportunity of
indulgence. They attract external pleasures by the emptiness of their natures.
Thus they lose themselves more and more, which of course has bad results."

I asked about the person who might co-sign for her and she is about the same age as DD, a peer so to say, 16.2.3.6-50
Line 2 the signs of the time could be the person's own job problems
but then 3 seizing the right moment could be that moment passed as this offer was made before this persons job problems and was not acted upon
line 6 awake from false enthusiasm-maybe no go here
But 50 is always so favorable so I don't know.

Your first answer line 1.2 suggested who to see, now I am wondering if the great man is the government, but Hex 63.1,6 > 53 doesn't clarify your first answer at all.

Try the state government again, and perhaps get her to go down and change her license on Monday morning.

One of easiest way to acquire instant money is to have money loans. However before having it, you should think the consequences first. Ask yourself if you are capable enough on paying your borrowed money during due time.

Well, personal financial advisor should be healthy individual be first, because if he is not healthy then it could have an negative effect on your business finance and needs to be made contrary to a clear business plan in order to have an overview of capital requirements. If one looking for some personal financial advisor than their is one group which provides all these facilities.
