Moving 24.2 > 19

Over a year ago I moved in with my parents to help them out due to hospitalizations and illness and then COVID hit so I stayed put. I've been waiting for my own smaller apartment in this complex to come available and just got called that one is available in November. I asked the oracle to advise me about moving (to apartment 153).

I received 24.2 changing to 19

I always want to "read into" the hexagrams so that they actually tell me what to do and I know this isn't how it works which is why I've brought it here to the group.

I interpret hexagram 24 (Fu) as RETURNING - back to my life again. I'm 59 and my parents are in their mid - late 80s and I put my life on hold moving here. Is my interpretation correct - the moving out and into apartment 153 is a RETURN to my life?

The second changing line I interpret as "the way is open" and "that there is nothing that will not benefit from this"

Finally Hexagram 19 to me in this instance tells me that the current situation which was a retreat from life can now come to a close and advancing back and/or to my life is a good thing?

Any suggestions and sage advice is very welcome.

This sounds positive to me. I think the line is auspicious, obviously. The line can also be about coming back to your center so maybe it’s about checking in with your gut, calming down and centering and seeing if you feel 100% good about it. I know it’s been a few days, I hadn’t seen this post, did you already decide to take it?

The line says rest and recover is lucky, then set to work again (19).
I agree with redoleander, it's a positive omen, it will give you some rest.

There's a chance that this means that ap.153 will fall through (the stopping of line 24.2) and you'll need to put effort (19) into finding another, so if this was my cast I'd hurry and book it, then relax and wait.

there are so many more factors in the decision of taking the apartment that i did not share above - thus - I did not take the apartment - only to decide today to see if it is still available tomorrow!

your evaluation of everything falling through may be ominous and reality - because - I initially said no to the apartment due to fears that which i did not allude to in my original post - and now - i think? I've decided to see if it still is available tomorrow!
