Hi,
This is my situation. I have moved 7 times in the past 4 years and have finally found an ideal situation affordable for me and my son and nurturing, joyous place to live.
I live in a caravan park renting a small 2 bedroom cottage off my friend. Before I cld actually move in I had to officially sign a form with the caravan park saying it was only for 100 days. That is now up and they are telling me I have to move. My girlfriend has said she wants me to stay here until at least February next year but hopes I can stay here for longer as she does not retire until another 4 years time. It is beneficial to both her and I, and the caravan park are still getting the rent due to them.
My son and I would be devastated if we had to move plus I cannot really afford to I asked ' what can I expect in regards to my living circumstances over the next week'

What can I expect in regards to my living circumstances over the next week?

Hexagram pictures: Sprouts, Hen

These two hexagrams are both yin (even numbered), in reverse numerical order, and the second is an exchange of trigrams of the first, with advancing. Sprouts suggests a standstill while new things develop; Hen, supportive fellowship.

Overall judgment: You should immediately take action. Explain your situation to the caravan park administrator and ask if there is any possibility of exemption. Would they accept a security deposit? Could you move out for a day and them return for another 100 days? The administrator may be required to enforce rules strictly but would accommodate you if your conduct in the park has been exemplary.

And to set armies marching.

Explain the situation to friends and ask for help.

Thku pocossin,
I sent an email to the administrator appealing to stay longer so at this stage I will just have to wait.

I just asked is it time for me and my son to move again and I got
51.3>55.

I get there is a call for action but not sure in what context.

Action () dominates in the trigrams and suggests moving. In 55 the person enlarges the boundary of the family. Could you move in with family? I'm sure that all this moving is bad. Poor Richard said: "Three removes are as good as a fire." Does the administrator know that the owner of the caravan would like for you to stay? Could you do some work for the park that would justify your staying? I don't understand the reason for the 100-day rule, but since you had to sign a form, there must be one.

Good point pocossin, I have no idea why there is a 100 day rule. The administrator has not replied to my email as yet so I am just living as per usual. Expanding the familys boundary - no I have no family I could move in with at all but this caravan is like a big family so I hope that means I am staying here.
If I can't stay, to me, that would just mean they are just being plain unreasonable really.
Will keep you posted - thku for your continued support.

Update

The administrator has said whilst he does understand my request to stay longer, the answer is still no and to add insult to injury said if I am not gone within 7 days myself and the owner of the premises will be in breach of the conditions of the park and he will take further action for the termination to take place.
Charming!

I have asked a friend of mine if he wld consider sharing a house with us and he said he will have a think about it.

I asked 'will we live with another' Hex 17.1.4.5>2

17.1 - an official has a change of heart - cld that be the administrator, maybe?

Our local paper this week has an article on the front page about the increase(65%) in the last couple of years of the amount of people who are homeless in this area.
I sent another email to the administrator pointing out this article and saying that is exactly what will happen to me and my son if he demands that we go. I said it a bit nicer than that but that is essentially what I said. I also asked him why he cannot extend my stay as both myself and the owner want it.

thks and blessings for your help in this distressing dilemma

There must be some way to control the number of occupants per residence in a caravan park. Apparently in the eyes of the administrator you entered the park as a guest of the caravan owner rather than as a tenant. Park rules may not permit owners to rent their caravans, and if the administrator is only the enforcer of rules, he may have no option but to require you to move even though there are only two occupants in this caravan. I'd also guess that strict enforcement of rules is why this park is such a desirable place to live.

Overall judgment: By fellowship with others you will find a stable place on earth. The casting suggests to me that you will live with another.

17.1 - an official has a change of heart - cld that be the administrator, maybe?

17.1
Nine at the beginning means:
The standard is changing.
Perseverance brings good fortune.
To go out of the door in company
Produces deeds.

The meaning of this line has not been settled by translators. Wilhelm and Hatcher have 'standard', but Whincup has

He loses his position.
It is auspicious for him to persevere.
All who go out the gate
will do deeds of merit.

And Legge has

1. The first NINE, undivided, shows us one changing the object of his pursuit; but if he be firm and correct, there will he good fortune. Going beyond (his own) gate to find associates, he will achieve merit.

The change of heart may be to broaden one's perspective and friendships. The image of 17 suggests that you will find a way to keep a roof over your heads:

Thunder in the middle of the lake:
The image of Following.
Thus the superior man at nightfall
Goes indoors for rest and recuperation.

Hoping an overall question - whatever the present is - is useful

Hope you are ok.

How to pose a relationship question - could be useful - if you haven't already -

As I remember it , it is: What is my relationship to x - the position - their relationship - what should I do?

It also helps you focus on an intention/desired outcome- and helps you avoid multiple questions

I hope this helps.

Thks for your input again, pocossin.
As it turns out I did find an ideal place for us and it is sharing with another. It is one of those times when you just know it is in line with your lifes path.
I am still not happy with the course of events that led to this and the lack of support from my so called friend who I am renting from but I feel happy to be moving now, well not the picking up furniture etc. part, but where we are going is going to be a very nourishing, nuturing place for me and my son.

thku to tabitha also. I do always find it difficult to find the right way to question the Iching especially when my emotions are flying around.
have a sunshiney day to you both
