Moving to a new place 30 and 24 unchanging

Dear All,

I'm about to move to a new place. I chose two places which are similarly attractive: i.e. one (Apt. 2) is better but a bit more expensive and further from my work, the other (Apt. 1) is worse, but cheaper and closer. So I asked I Ching: Give me reflection on living in place X.

I got two answers:

Apt 1 - 30 unchanging
Apt 2 - 24 unchanging

What do you think? Which one I should choose?

They both seem ok

i would choose the second one it sounds more homely , i cant help but think you might be happier in the one that is slightly further, and you might have a buffer zone ( we could all use one of those)

The reason I'm looking for a place near my work is that I'm opening a cafe, and I'll need to be there at least 2-3 times a day, esp. early in the mornings and at the time of closing up, so around 10 p.m. Also, on some days I'll be working there many hours, too, while I have two cats at home that need my attention. So moving close to work is to help me manage my time schedule.

On the other hand, the second place is much nicer, so there's my dilemma.

From a Wen Wang Gua perspective, hexagram 30 is a total conflict (the earthly branch of every line clashes with the earthly branch of another) while hexagram 24 is a total combination (the erathly branch of every line combines with the earthly branch of anorher).

In hex 30, the line representing you is void, it's hollow; that is not a good sign.
In hexagram 24, the line representing you is Asset: you need to expend money buy it's good for you. Most probably, you'll expend money by hosting guest/friends, hosting receptions, parties, good company.

All in all, I'd read option 2 to be far better than option 1

option 1 is an intense place, either to bright or to be burned
oprtion 2 is a place of relaxation, new beginings, hope

Both apartments would be fine, from this reading.
30: brightness shining. Apartment #1 may be a place where you can radiate your own self-esteem and inner fire.
24: Apartment #2 --"return" is very auspicious for a new home, since this hexagram is about homecoming and returns. The judgment says people come and go freely. The theme of the hexagram is coming home. So I would consider that seriously.
Could that cafe be close to apartment #2? Or is that inconvenient?
