Hi everyone.

I'm in a band and we are moving from a collecting society to another. We have an old album online with a former singer whom we haven't spoken to in years. He's a really egocentric person and we basically hate his guts. At that time we made the mistake of equally divide the royalties, but those songs were already written before he came in the band. In order to transfer the songs to the other collective society, he should go log on the website and renounce to the royalties of the songs as we are all doing. Otherwise they will become theirs, unless we do some sort of legal action. Which we can't afford as we are all still students and the song themself weren't promoted and we basically earned zero money from them. He is really really selfish and frustrated person and even if he doesn't care at all about those songs, he could potentially obstruct the process just for the sake of it.

So the question is: how to behave with him in order to deal with these songs issue?

Thanks in advance.

Well, right off 44. tells us you are dealing with some very difficult energies.
44.4 might be a reference to not having the signed contract renouncing the royalties and your concern that asking him for this could be tricky. 44.5 does seem to offer some reason for optimism if you approach like a lover. Schmooze the guy. 44.6 says attacking this person would not be a successful approach.
46. describes a situation where you are striking out on your own.
So it seems to be advising that in your moving to a new collective society you approach this fellow in a very friendly way, being very careful to avoid appearing to attack him.

44.6 might also be saying it's not about money, it's about who's got the control.

Hello;

44 is about being powerful & 46, moving upward step by step.
44.2: there's no place for "guests". I think the line says you'll have your "fish"- your money, no mistake. 44.5: a beautiful thing comes from heaven. Maybe an unexpected help?
44.6: acting with your "horns" which brings shame but isn't a mistake. At some point you need to confront him I guess.

This could be a common friend that frequently speaks with both of us.

However I need to confront him personally, it would be silly to ask this friend or other members of the band to do that instead. We were close friends and it's going to make me really uncomfortable, but it's for the best...

I guess I should somehow act friendly even if I don't want to have nothing to do with him whatsoever. It's kind of tricky. I guess both interpretations imply that it should be me personally to be is in charge of communicating with him and not other members of the band or this common friend, because it's me who got the idea and who asked Yi.
