My dear father's feelings

Hi All,

Still waiting to hear about the apartment in Ohio that we are considering moving to.
We have ambivalent feelings about whether to stay or to go. Of course there are pros and cons
whichever way we go. However my 88 year old father who is so dear to me lives in our current town where we now reside. I have mentioned to him that we might be possibly moving 40 miles away
and at times it might be hard for me to get home to see him, winter snow, gas, etc. but I would do my very best to get back to be with him. My father barely said anything except for this, "What about the band"? Don't you want to stay for the band"? I was in a gospel band and am taking a break for the time being (he doesn't know this, thinks I'm still doing it) So his question made me wonder if he wanted me to stay here because he knew how much I loved the band.......and just a little bit I think he was using this to encourage me us to stay so he could have us around without him saying so himself.

so I asked What are my father's true feelings about us maybe moving away ; is it going to devastate him?

After reading Hex 48 I was wondering if my father might be considered the well. I will so appreciate any thoughts on my father's feelings about this. Thanks

Ah Sooo how very very sweet of you to say that. I take it that you may have had a relationship like this with your father? or maybe not? Yes Dad and I have always been close. He used to call me his little princess. My sister was loved by him just as much but I was a miracle child back in 1949 when I was born. I only weighed 3lbs 4oz.s which back then was a miracle to keep a baby that small alive. Mom said that my basinette was a shoe box of all things and my head was as small as a squirrels! lol Mom and Dad were quite young when they married and dirt poor so that is why the shoe box. I believe because of my size and my learning disability that drove my father to protect me more than the other kids, even though he loved them as well. So now you can see why I am concerned about leaving him now.

I'm a little confused though about which hexagrams you received. You said 48 with changing lines 3 and 5, leading to hexagram 31. But if those lines change, you receive hexagram 7. Right? To arrive at hex 31, lines 2 and 4 would have to be the changing lines.

What I'm hearing in 48 is that the love both of you share is there to draw from wherever you might be.

When I read the changing lines you mentioned, I hear a longing for someone to share his love with. The water is clear and good.
