Hello there

my great aunt has had health problems over the last few years, with her body half paralysed and a depression started. I was told on Sunday that she has now stopped eating, and the only thing they can do to her is hydration.

Since she lives in another city I would like to go home and see her for the last time but have a job on Monday to do here where I am (actually not an important nor well paid job, so I could actually leave on Saturday as well).

I asked Will I be on time if I say goodbye to her on Monday? 47 unchanging

I have it that it will be too late, what do you think?
If you all agree that it will be too late then I will leave Saturday (Hillary refers to death in her thread about 47, this deeper connection)

please help! tà!

Well first thing comes to mind is that in 47 'words cannot be trusted'. You can't go by what people say, or what you hear about this situation.

Why risk it ? I mean why wait ? If you go and it's too late that would be a great shame. None of us can tell you for sure if it will be too late or not as we don't know when someone will die. Not even with the I Ching can anyone say when someone will die

I would urge you to go on Saturday. Great Aunts are far more important than jobs and you may be a great comfort to her.

Thank you, I came across an earlier post on health on 47 unchanging and the people involved both died.

Now I'm afraid Saturday will be too late as well but I have a job on Friday too and that would be more difficult - but not impossible oc course- to cancel.

Hello again!
I have decided to leave on Saturday since tomorrow I have this job where it would be difficult to replace me. While I can easily be replaced for the job on Monday.

So I've just asked What can I do to make my great aunt want to live?
(because she has stopped eating, it's not an ilness she's got, it's just that she's tired of living and wants to go)
I got 18.3.4.6>40

Now I never happened to have 18 but it looks like it's something to do with ancestors and in a way she is one :)
So I have the impression it's telling me to love her and accept that she is dying and that would in a way be a liberation for her (40)?
do you agree with that?
I read in a post on 18 that 18 is acceptance of natural decay..

Then I asked if my fruit and vegetable juices could put her back in good shape and got 39.3>8, I shall write something on that tomorrow..

My great aunt died today at 4 pm.

I am so happy I came home to see her! And keep thinking that had I chosen to leave today after the job I was supposed to do I would have arrived too late.

So this is the third case here on the blog that 47 unchanging means that someone will die.

A big hug to all of you, and don't forget to live and smile and laugh :hugs:

Hello Olga,

Just browsing, but wanted to leave a note of condolence here after reading this thread. I'm sorry for your loss, but thank goodness you were able to see your great aunt in time. Moments like this, where the I Ching and this forum make such a positive difference, are truly heartwarming.
