Soo I posted a few times now on a recent breakup with my ex. It seems everytime I feel like us not working out being a good thing he comes back (through text) and says he misses me, of course I miss and still love him so everytime that happens I lose my center! So I asked If I should walk away (like is It still the right thing to do) and got hex 48.3 > 29... the well changing to water.. What does this mean?!

48.3 indicates that there were and perhaps are things that you ought to have done, but didn't. To have made this love work would have required a very slow and steady effort without any pretensions. But as you did not do that work, obviously you are now apart. The effort to come together again, however, in 29 is very bad. 29 promises many ordeals. It also indicates the state of mind you are in about your ex. Move on.

I took your advice and consulted the oracle again this time with the question,

Like you suggested, and got the hex 17.3 > 49
Following then Revolution.
Does it mean the consequence would be my opportunity for learning and growing away from him or to be with him again would be the opportunity to learn and grow?because it seems like right now from where i'm at he has alot of catching up to do, and so do, although externally. I did the following, through modesty though, he took advantage of that and that's why it ended.. so this time around I feel like I offered what I could, he took it for granted, we were'nt on the same page.. we had alot of good, but I think I had to put up with more BS/ drama then he did........

Well, the take is Yi does not tell you what to do. Yi gives you a better picture of your current, near future and even past events.

You will have to make an ultimate decision whether to continue or have a clear cut.

It means that you can take positive action, and if you do you will get 49, which is an auspicious hexagram where you can abolish the old and establish the new. Why worry about the past?

oh, I just noticed the 48.3 and the 49 is there some sort of connection between the 2 like maybe by staying I will get to 49? :S

Ps.. me n the ex have decided to be friends..
I feel really confused now, because I was moving on, we decided to take things slow maybe rebuild.. thing is I felt like he was using me the first time around and don't know if I can trust him again...
IDK what to do!! makes me not want to try, I feel like I have given what I could, now he has to show me that I mean as much as he says I do to him, but how does someone do that when you're not with them? I don't know how to act, I don't know what to think... He says give him a second chance to prove he loves me and would do anything for me but I just don't know.. it makes me sad.
