Well, 3 deaths in family in 10 months time.-unemployed, very close to obligation to retirement.-living in a quite remote village.-very many obligations in red tape.-living alone.-no support of remaining family members.- But : few and old friends living afar -taken up yoga - weekly dependance support meeting-will continue to be of support to remaining handicaped brother in retirement home-willing to give free conversation lessons in english in an association(I live in France)... : A very small introduction of situation. I feel things are beginning to unblock,but I am confused by the amount of things that are to be taken care of ...Beautiful I ching answer,I understand not to be totally discouraged and gather strength in spirit. For the moment I cannot see further than moment to moment! Any Any further 'views'from somebody? Would be grateful. ps.:I have a bit of trouble dealing with computer writing and world,so maybe I'll not be able to know how to read answers to this post

I agree with your assesment - this is a very hopeful reading indeed. While 12 seems to be describing your current situation - very blocked - and also lack of good people directly in your life to help you sort out things. But line 6 says clearly that the blockage is close to the end - that you have traveled through all stages of the blockage and now it can soon be overthrown. Still, it also requires your active participation. Wilhelm says

"The standstill does not last forever. However, it does not cease of its own
accord; the right man is needed to end it. This is the difference between a
state of peace and a state of stagnation. Continuous effort is necessary to
maintain peace."

So all the things you have started to do, as you describe are beneficial for your eventual journey. Hex 45 speaks of spiritual gathering and has to me always been about "coming home" be that into yourself or an exterior situation. Is there some sort of spiritual practice you are interested in?

Just to add to maui's reply: 12.6>45 also speaks about how a blockage does not end by itself but how you have to work to end it. Looking at what you wrote it serms that you definitely are working on it, so the line is not only saying that the good days are coming but that you earned the good you will get. You should feel proud of yourself keep it up!
