to me it means there is a change that takes some time to set in. Once the new is accepted you'll see that things have changed for the better and you'll like it.

This one seems a complicated issue but, i'll offer my thoughts.(And my apologies for not answering sooner. I began to, then circumstances demanded my attention)
"what if I pull back from R right now. Hex 49 - 1.3.4.5 to 2"
49 is about a Big Change. (Snake sheds its skin, but only at the right time)
The image says to clarify the seasons. (What time is it? Is the time right for this?)
Line 1: the time isnt right, too soon.
Line 3: dont do anything rash, clearly deliberate this issue beforehand.
Line 4: change the way you are doing something based on your convictions and faith will be put in you.
Line 5: be so confident in your decision that no one will doubt you.
Change to hex 2: Dont take the initiative here.
So regarding complicated answers, here is the most useful thing I've read (thank you heylise) :*
Mom says to a small child "Go play outside, but don't go onto the street. The cars will hit you, that hurts!!" (Bad bad omen). "Button up your coat, you will stay warm and feel good" (Good omen) Two lines, no problem for a child, he is not going to join those two together, and get a contradiction."

So, you will have to determine which lines apply to which aspect of the situation. (Some to your homelife or personal feelings?) But I tend to think that this person provides you friendship and support and that's s good thing, not to be thrown away lightly. On the other hand, i would mention that even though this person says they love you, does that mean all the things to them that it does to you? (Circumstances being considered)
