I've written several books - partly printed, partly online (in German) - on topics of astrology. (some quite successful, but certainly far from being "bestsellers".) I stopped writing last year - partly due to quarrels with my publisher. And I felt quite relieved having stopped writing.
However, I found quite an interesting theory concerning rhythms of time based on the so-called Chaldean sequence.
I asked: should I write this down - and publish it online ?
Answer 12 - 4,5,6, - thus resulting in Hex. 2.
Some kind of encouragement - ?
But what I can't really understand it that it boils down to Kun...... ?

I've found hex. 2 as the resulting hexagram to mean something is completed and that's the end of it, like a compost pile turning everything into dirt once again. In response to your question it makes me think that you would need to do more to get your work seen and appreciated.
I hope you do it and let us know!

Thinking more about these hexagrams -

Perhaps instead of meaning the project is at a 12.Standstill as in 2.Dead and buried, perhaps instead 2. represents the collective unconscious and that by you reactivating this knowledge (12.4.5.6 is about how to reactivate something that has run out of steam) you are greatly enriching us all. Even if you never publish! Even if you never complete it! By thinking about it, thinking it through you are contributing to it's reenergizing and eventual resurrection - but since it does seem like this could happen sooner rather than later. I think it's is an idea whose time has come - I hope you will write and publish!

Thank you for your kind answers! I've thought about it for hours. Actually, I've finally decided to follow your advice, which seems convincing. (And moreover I trust your being so experienced in I Ching readings.)
I've actually started writing this morning - i.e. I've structured the contents. (It'll be in German. If it were in English, I'd send you a copy as soon as it's finished... :) - Thank you so much!

Grand!
Saying you've structured the contents reminds me of a joke where the fellow is asked how things are coming along with his book;
"I'm making progress! I've got all th pages numbered!"

And for added encouragement remember Hemmingway's comment:
"Writing is easy - You just stare at a blank page until blood pops out on your forehead."

A good one indeed! :D
But I've taken the next step already - have written the first pages... :)
