8.5 talks about letting the things that want to come to you come to you, and letting the things that want to run off run off. In other words, the Yi is saying something like: "You're being honest with your emotions; now let him do what his heart tells him to do." The fact that Hex 2 is your second hex reinforces the idea of not taking the lead, of powerfully accepting what happens now.

See, the fact that the leaving affected you so strongly says way more about you than it does about the relationship or the guy. If you want to know something about the guy, wait and see if he comes to you now. If he does, you'll know what you need to know. If he doesn't come to you, you'll also know something... he's not for you.

Hex 8.5 > 2 says that if this guy is meant to be yours then it will be, so there is no need to go chasing after him because the relationship will develop quite naturally. So, be patient and don't force the issue, follow his lead and all be fine.

Hex 40.2,6 > 35 says that he must be totally honest with himself so as to remove any doubts that he may have, so he is probably biding his time before he makes a move, everything must be done correctly in order to ensure success. Hex 35 says once the ice is broken then good progress can and will be made.


Hex 20.4,5 > 35 you are the person who can influence him, to put yourself in his path so that he sees you, then you will see what effect you are having on him, if you are doing it right then a relationship will happen, and again hex 35 says that progress will be made, things will blossom.
