New job: dungeon sub? hex 41.1.2>23 & hex 36 & hex 24.2>19

So Ive applied as a sub for a local dungeon in town, and I have an interview on wednesday.

My first question was a bit too vague for my taste so because of the vagueness Im wondering if also these hexagrams are referring to this weird situation that happened to me last night with some dude...

I asked for:

Insight as to the job interview at the dungeon?

41.1.2 > 23

-I truly am having a hard time grasping this meaning. For the interview I think it is telling me to decrease my accepting nature and be very prepared. Have questions and to make sure I am sure this will be a good way for me to make a bunch of extra cash on my own terms. Thoughts? Please..

-I take this as a good sign, darkening of the light to me kinda exemplifies being a sub. Also I am thinking this is a great way for me to realize where my center is. I am submissive but I am also a control and power freak. So I see this if I take the job, I can practice hiding my strength and get flogged but in a paid, fully consensual and "Im in control" way. (cos usually it will happen in the most opposite way. ugh)


and before all these I asked: Best way to deal with X today? 24.2 > 19

Which I took to be the straw that broke my proverbial back. This guys cat scratched me so hardcore last night while we were nakes and he didnt apologize and was turning the blame on me saying "who let the cat in", so I said "ok ill let him out" and made for the cat and this guy, he reacted violently and used a choke hold to throw me down to the ground!!! I did not even TOUCH his cat.
So yeah I got the heck outta there and I am not having any more of it.
Worst part is this guy was like, prime grade A+ seeming like a gift from heaven- he was a gentleman and was totally into spoiling me and wanting to "take care of me" and all that. He is moving very close to me (like practically down the street) next month cos he just sold his house. I am very annoyed at this.

Im sorry my readings are kind of convoluted but any insight as to the dungeon questions or if the yi today is referring to my relationship with this pair of clown shoes of a man or what?

In my experience -

is a sure sign the man is a control freak with abusive tendencies mild to violent and judging by his response to your 'alteracation' with his cat, he was quick to blame and use physical force. Liss

i dont really understand yet how i let myself believe this kind of stuff guys spew, and why i do not listen to my intuition when it is telling me somethings amiss (his control freakishness)

i know i am attracted to control and abuse so i figured id go be a proper sub and get paid for it
hopefully i can train and eventually be a switch.

Notice how the bottom two yang drop out of the hexagram, and the higher yang is all that holds things together. Maybe a clue saying "be fairly submissive, at least for the interview". I mean, think about the job you're applying for. Be receptive to something coming from a seemingly "splitting" place and do not attempt to decrease the effect too much. Make as little negotiation as possible but put forth some effort, even if it seems like they increase their assertiveness (that's their job). You're facing Keeping Still and must go from Joyousness to Receptiveness. In the face of the mountain the lake dries up. Just keep a little water in that there lake.

Basically, don't let yourself get overwhelmed.

I think you got it right. Basically, conceal your light, but keep it strong. Very fitting Hexagram.

I think what the I Ching's saying is: making even the slightest return and approach, you will most likely meet with a huge apology and acceptance. But I think it's important to consider whether you want that after what happened. Your question was "what is the best way to deal with X", so it seemed to show you. It didn't show you if X is right for you. That might be an interesting follow-up question.

I love it! I totally see that, the two bottom lines I got here as 'reality' and 'reactions' these two young yang lines dropping off and the top line (brains) keeping it together.
of course Im meant to be submissive. The interview I am meant to come is as business casual, and Im guessing they are eventually going to test how much I can take, so I hope it totally works out cos I can take a lot. It seems real safe and its been around for a long while and its female run and all that, so Im stoked.
The splitting place you are referring to is the dom/sub extremes right? The effect is what makes it what it is, black/white, clear cut and rule defined, so decreasing that would not benefit me in a scene, in fact I have to be joyous and receptive to the scene, excellent.
What I do not know is how much they pay. I know this pays a lot but I dont know how much being on staff in a dungeon would be, geez I havent even been to one. So you are right and that I should not get overwhelmed and put a little effort but not so much that I come across as just in it for money which would equate to "putting up with it" instead of "loving it" which is what is sought and paid for.

I like going through that sequence of the trigrams like that and never done that before. So cool. Im such a newb sorry.

I didnt make any approach. I even blocked his number from my phone but he didnt leave a message or anything today so I heard nothing from him. I thought the Iching was referring to return to my intuition telling me to hold back on this guy and that would guide me if he approached again.
I can be pretty cutting and totally told him off and smacked his face. His out of the blue violent reaction in that situation for me, cos I didnt do anything to his cat: triggered some traumas ive been working on. he is somewhat of a "predatory ego" (from this iching translation in a book he got me ) he does nlp stuff. or whatever. he doesnt really, he just started and only works with his teacher and classmates, sometimes.
Im not convinced.
Though, it seems so useful to have someone I "like" there and wanting to throw gifts my way, because I am so broke right now. The thing that stops me is that I notice he is really distracting and eats my time away by saying he wants to "help me" then we end up not doing anything that I would do to normally to enrich myself and instead go walk around and he spends money on me. Its like hes fake when it comes to his being enlightened and all "nlp" and stuff. Though he is very complimentary and tells me what he sees me as, it kind of strengthens me to keep my distance mentally and emotionally from him. woops
I think if he wants me to forgive him Im going to go check out how much such behaviour is worth in the dungeon and charge him accordingly

the interview went well.
i suppose i "took" the job. im meant to go for training this week.
its for a lot of money. and if i can get this and can do it, wow im getting rid of all of my headaches in a 20 hour work week. lots of role playing and tickling, spanking, stuff like that, its not a full service job at all and is something im into so im going to do my best and 36 the heck out of the training.
The persona is up to me so im looking forward to making some stuff

i could not console myself to wanting that- seeing that guy after he choked me to the ground. ive taken to calling him "cat guy" with friends, who all say "WTF" and are just floored when i tell them the story.

i didnt get this dungeon job i was sooo disappointed!
but then all this other stuff happened. my dad had a heart attack over the weekend and needs a non surgical procedure done but its costly and were all broke.
cat scratch guy is gonna step up and, well i guess you shouldnt say what you wish for cos it could come true and well he is going to pay for my rent. im going to try and just keep my internal distance and be all 36 anyway, even if i didnt get the fetish job, see if i can walk on water (kan)
