New man and hex 61

Dear All,

I have to apologise in advance for even asking about hex 61 after ALL that has been posted on it on this forum.But my question was not as deep and philosophical as the entire hex 61, yet I got it twice (all right, I sat on the answer, didn't get it and asked the same question again - slap on the wrist well deserved....).

The question was: will this new suitor that has turned up in my life become my boyfriend/partner? Yes, fair enough it's the first time in about 5 months that I am daring to open my heart again and yes, it's all 61 stuff - accept the possibility of being either delighted or hurt by another (lovely so far, but then who knows...?) human being. But what on earth is the IC telling me about this one - will it work out or not?

Who knows? Guess it depends how much you both want it to. But the fundamentals are favorable. Looks like good communication, good chemistry. 61 readings based on friendships are a good omen, but nothing guarantees success forever by itself. It always requires work and renewal.

Oh well - let's hope I'm just so afraid to see positive things in a reading, but then again, you're right - 61 is not your "things go baaaaaad" hex (the IC has some of those in its "vocabluary", too).
Communication and chemistry - I'm all up for that , and as for the long-term potential, you're right, it's outside the scope of this reading.

Hexagram 61 is about an inner chemistry bringing the right people together. It is about an inner knowing that goes beyond the conscious level. It is, on the spiritual level, the way that the right people meet up with the right people. In otherwords, a chemistry that the two people are not at first aware of, it simply takes a while to awaken. In that sense, in terms of your question, it is a very positive omen. However, as with all things, wrong turns can be made and things can go awry, but it would appear that this is a workable relationship. See line two, a crane calls in the shade, but only those that are its own hear and recognize the call.

Thank you for this very helpful clarification. I guess the IC did answer my question directly, it's just that the answer deals with the root of the matter, as usual.In this case, it's telling me this guy is genuine and it is possible to work towards a meaningful relationship with him.In truth, that's all I wanted to have confirmed.
