Hi I am a new memeber and new to the IChing,

I am hoping to meet a new partner after a long break and sorting myself out. I was married for 18 years and got my heartbroken but feel ready to try again with someone new.

My question to the IChing was:

Will I become romantically involved with a man that lives in xxxxxxxxxx?

I received Hex 54.2.4>24

My interpretation is -
He sees the truth but continues to push me away but I remain patient and eventually we become a couple.
But unsure of what Returning(Turning Point) means??

Or have I got the whole thing wrong?

Wld appreciate your help.

thks and have fun

Hi Melissa
The answer may be about X as much as about your possible hesitations due to some lingering heartache.

Advancing (53) may restore you to your “home”, the fulfillment of everything you want (54). But in 54 things do not happen overnight. Your joy is there, but is it the same joy as the first time? Consider how you set out and some result of what you want may be known.
2) though you see things with “one eye” (no depth) you do know the proper ways and may find the right x. I see again a hint here to drop remnants of heartache. Something like the integration of old pain into a new (mature?) love emotion.
4) suggests that you take your time, though knowing what is good for you.
24) is return to an inner stillness, a coming back with clear distinctions.

Your interpretation starts with what he thinks, and well, maybe you are right and he senses your hesitation at this new start? Provided that you find some validity in my reading you could take things up with him, without unloading your pain on him:)

Thks Lloyd makes a lot more sense than my interpretation and helps me to look more into myself about what's going on.

Pandar

Says Pandar, in Chaucer's 'Troilus and Criseyde':

For these my words, here and in every part
Of this, are spoken under the correction
Of you that have a feeling for love’s art,
And I submit them all to your reflection.
Oh, my poor language; let it be your cure,
I beg you! To return to where we were …
