Im waiting some news and I asked the IChing why I am not getting them, why there is not communication at the moment, why I am not receiving them or not being sent the messages and news?
The answer is hexagram 41, changing lines 5 and 6 turning into hexagram 60.
What is the IChing talking about?

Hi Claire,

Hmmm. At first I found this tricky, but after letting it gel for a while, I think the meaning is clear, provided we can look at it from a slightly different perspective.

Usually, the Primary Hexagram, the Moving Lines, and the Secondary Hexagram, represent the past/present, the way the situation will change, and the outcome if we follow the advice. But there is a different way of looking at this: that the Secondary Hexagram provides the overall environment which gives the Primary its meaning, and I think that?s what?s going on here. (Someone else commented on this approach recently on the board)

But here, we have another seeming contradiction - Line 5 contradicts its Hexagram. We have Hex 41, which speaks of Decline, Discipline, Restraint, Restriction. And yet, Line 5 tells us: ?No Decrease - Only Increase?. And Line 6 reinforces that message. But, with a caveat. It all depends on how we behave, and act.

This leads us to Hex 60, which is all about Limitations, Boundaries, Moderation, which seems confusing again, unless we can see this Hexagram as ?the sea in which the Primary is floating?.

So - what does it all mean ??

To me, it?s all about ego response - anger (perhaps too strong a word here), frustration, a desire to force an outcome - whatever. But above all, resistance to ?What Is? - inability to accept - just that. That is the key to your reading.

If you can accept whatever is happening, or not happening, with calmness and equanimity, you?ll get what you want. You don?t have to do anything. It?s all perfect, if you will just allow it to happen.

It?s telling you to withdraw into your silence, and allow the Creative to handle the details. It?s saying, whatever you do, you will have Increase, provided that it?s not at the expense of others. Set limits, guidelines and boundaries on your attitude to this situation, but don?t make them rigid ones. If you decide to pursue information about why your news is not forthcoming, do it with consideration for the other party. Be flexible, moderate, gentle. Gentle is true strength. If you follow this advice from the ?Yi?, you will be successful.
