I'm still ruminating on the answers the iching has given me on my "next big move" and geographical implications of that move.

I have asked the iching whether I will find my kind of work in my homecity should I return there soon. The answer was: 28.2 > 31.

I'm interpretting this, given the context of the question (Will I be able to find xxxxx work in Homecity?), as quite positive.

Is this correct or am I deluded and need of medication?

Would you experts interpret 41.2.3 > 14 as positive?

for me 28.2 has also a hint towards a kind of mutual support, that is, you could find a helpful friend(s) there, the relating hex is 31, so there is the chance of some hint about a relationship, is it correct ?
Anyway, hex 28 talks about a situation that is too heavy to sustain, what is burdening you ? In which area is your situation too heavy ?

That's two questions, but never mind.

28.2 is about rejuventation, something coming to life again, and how that's very good news. You returning to your hometown fits the imagery exactly. It looks really promising.

41.2.3>14 talks about making some kind of sacrifice, which in this case seems to mean an important gain overall - paradoxical, but there you go. On a micro level, 41.2 talks about how it's advantageous to carry out what you think is right, but how you shouldn't impose your will on correcting the situation; things might look like a loss, but they're actually a gain (this last bit is echoed by 41>14 as well). And 41.3 talks about a rearrangement of the elements involved in the situation - positive in that things find their proper place.

Sounds like a 'time to go' situation - things rearrange and find their proper places, affliction diminishes. And the 14 as a relating hexagram has the same meaning I gave it before. (I was goose-like too - I missed the discrepancy.)
