Well, it appears as though my ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend's divorce is now final. (She cheated on her Colonel husband with my boyfriend while her husband was in the middle east in the military last year.) How do I know their divorce is complete? I received an email under an obvious pseudonym that was seething of anger, jealousy and pure hatred towards me. I don't know of anyone else who would send such a message and given that I was told that the divorce would be "final the last week of September" and I received this message on September 30th, I have to put the two together and assume this email was from her. Apparently, the divorce settlement did not go the way she wanted it to.

I informed the girlfriend's husband of the cheating when it was going on last year and provided his attorney a notarized affidavit of the story from my perspective which most likely was pretty damning to her case. I'll bet the child custody arrangements and lack of alimony probably ticked her off. She appears to not be very educated, is very shallow and has obviously no morals, so of course I am concerned for my personal safety.

So, I forwarded the message to her husband and said that I assumed it to be her and that if anything further were to happen, there would be a restraining order filed against her immediately. (Geesh, for some people growing older doesn't necessarily mean growing up.)

I asked Yi "What actions against me personally will happen as a result of forwarding the message to her ex-husband?" and received 61.6 > 60. I take it to mean that this issue is highly emotionally charged and that she gets a wakeup call of some sort, which in the context of 60 means she will back off (or I file that restraining order to limit her actions). Or is it that this is some sort of wakeup call for me? What do you take it to mean? I really appreciate your input, as I know I'm too close to really look at this casting objectively.

Hex 61 is auspicious re. legal matters. Line 6 possibly reassures you that your declaration has been heard loud and clear up in heaven. 'A soaring sound mounts, tending towards heaven'. Although mention is made of trial and pitfall thereafter, I don't think it applies in each and every instance. Try asking another question such as: What would be the benefit of such action ? Would there be any repercussions for me, for X ?

You were very brave and bold to have taken such draconian measures !

Thanks, Themis! I appreciate the interpretation. It does bring me some comfort to hear that. The actions of my ex-boyfriend and this woman were not right and harmed innocent people, including a young child. I thought that if the tables were turned, I'd want to know. So, I let her husband in on my discovery. I just wasn't aware it was practically on the eve of his deployment. I have apologized for adding that stress to the husband, but he emphatically said it was not necessary. He was grateful for what I had done, as it took a lot of strength to do so and that it allowed him to take action accordingly.

After I submitted the affidavit to his attorney, I had that moment of doubt. I actually messaged someone I have talked about as a romantic interest on these boards, Terry. He stood strong with me and was proud of what I had done. Ironic how life sometimes is - Terry's ex-wife cheated on him, ending their marriage. As a side note, Terry and I are embarking on a new relationship together - as friends. We're putting the romantic "stuff" behind us and are just enjoying each other's company.

I did a follow up casting: "Will the girlfriend experience any repercussions?" and received 48.1.4.5 > 34. I think that it was saying with the muddied water in line 1 that she was not thinking clearly, then the well begins repair on line 4 (she begins to think clearly) and line 5 she finally gets clarity, then in hex 34 she starts acting with the proper decorum.

I find that rather interesting, as this was not her first affair in her marriage. She told my boyfriend when she learned that her husband knew of their relationship, "OMG, he's gonna kill me...no, really, he is. That's what he said the last time this happened!" So maybe this means either she sees her cheating behaviour as not appropriate and is now acting as she should in relationships...or that it refers to the email to me? She may have had a moment of anger and fired off a nastygram and has since cooled off and won't go further with things. Hey, we've all done that. Unfortunately, the stakes here are much higher to make that much of a screw up, IMHO.

I believe the old sage is responding by giving a picture of what you've been through and what will ensue. It's kinda saying: Don't worry about the other party, here's what you need to know for the time being. That's my take on it. Needless to say the outcome will be auspicious and you'll bounce back !

The potential/resulting Hex 'The great's vigor' (The situation described by this hexagram is characterized by the invigorating power of a central idea or long-term goal which stimulates and spurs to action (harvesting, trial)) depicts a situation where you acquire strength and firm purpose. All good.

All the best re. your friendship with Terry :)

I like that take on things, Themis! Hope it is as auspicious as it seems. I like that idea of acquiring strength and purpose. That cannot be a bad thing!

I also appreciate your well wishes about Terry. I am keeping my expectations low, given our past, but am somewhat optimistic that we will do well as friends.
